Rear main seals are letting go, causing all pressure to be put on the front brakes. Consumers mom had the same problem with her 2000 Tracker. Once consumer purchased the 2001 year of the same vehicle, her father informed consuemr to have the system checked. Upon checking, consumer found out that the same failure her moms vehicle experienced was also showing signs on the 2001 version. Consumer would like for gm to recall the failing parts.
While driving 60 mph tapped brakes to disengage cruise control, brakes locked up, and vehicle spun around 180 degrees and rolled 25 feet down a ravine. Driver and passenger suffered neck and back injuries. Vehicle was totalled.
