I took my tuck to have starter replaced twice within a years time. About two months went by and my truck is doing the same thing. When I drive it for a short distance it will not start I have sit for an hour before it start's. The dealer ship that I take my truck keep telling I need a new starter when I just had it replaced. I thank they have defective starter or they don't put a new starter on my turck. I cann't see a starter going bad three times within a year.
Geo Tracker, one a 1993 and the other a 2003 model, caught fire after an accident. The consumer lost control of the vehicle and flipped over. Reference second odi #10115135 (lawyer on behalf of client).
On March 8, 2003 I purchased this vehicle. After about 2 or so weeks, I encountered rattling and squeaking. On several occasions I have taken my vehicle to the dealer to have them find the problem. No one has been able to find the problem. Each time I get a courtesy call on how service was, I tell them the service was fine, and that still no one has been able to find my squeaking and rattling. I am told that someone will get back to me on this. To this date (July 22, 2006), I have not heard from anyone. I am getting fed up. What am I supposed to do? I have children I drive around and they hear the problem and do not want to be in my vehicle, but they have no choice as I am the driver.
My drivers side window doesnt want to roll up or down unless I pull on it while pressing the button to roll it up. Once up, it doenst close all the way and you can hear the air coming in. In cases that it does go up all the way, the motor sounds as though it is still trying to make the window roll up and I have to crack it open in fear that it is going to shatter! the window has been fixed 4 times by the dealer and now my warranty is up and they dont want to hear anything more from me about it untill I agree to pay to have it looked at and fixed and they "might" reimburse me. Is there anything I can to with this? I have been trying to get chevy to fix it correctly since 2003. The second mechanic told me "its made cheaply and this will probably happen again and again". There should be no reason that I should have to deal with a vehicle that I have had this problem with since the first few months of purchase.
The key won't always turn completly off. It sticks in the aux position. It seems maybe a sticking relay, not the key itself.
