One problem related to transmission failure has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have 2 Chevrolet Trailblazers and the transmission has failed in both in the same way (broken sun shell). My research shows this is a very common problem and was fixed by gm starting in 2003.
