general problems of the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer

My key gets stuck in my ignition repeatedly for the last two weeks. And now I have to leave my key in the ignition and the battery will die.

Repeatedly replacing suspension parts(struts,bushings,shocks,control arm) passenger seatbelt locks even when driver does not apply brake interior lights randomly flicker/dash lights partially work dash not fully visible front & rear wipers do not fully function properly repeatedly replacing fuel line parts (fuel pump, fuel filter) gas hand on. Dash still fluctuates exterior lights headlamps are very dim like they are not on at all with or without bright. Lights engaged rear brake lights randomly flicker (bulbs repeatedly replaced) near & close call accidents when vehicle in motion on city streets and highways at times requiring police assistance to move vehicle into safer zones when vehicle has become inoperable. Vehicle stationary at times when dealing with electrical flickers upon starting ignition. Starter had to be replaced twice due to turning of ignition would cause spark and if not corrected vehicle could have caught on fire. Status of some parts unknown due to repeated replacement and becoming too costly several inquiries are on the recall list but my VIN pulls up no recent recalls: recall number 02v222000 recall date 08/09/2002 component air bags:frontal 03v075000 recall date 03/06/2003 component power train 03v096000 recall date 03/19/2003 component electrical. Wiper/washer 02v121000 recall date 08/23/2002 component fuel system, gasoline:delivery:hoses, lines/piping, and fittings currently gathering all invoices for repair.

Smelling gas even though no gas was spilled. The car is stationary in garage. I feel it is unsafe to keep in the garage and I am parking it outside. I am also worried about driving.

#1. On 2 occasions last week, my Trailblazer suddenly lost most of its power, and the engine light reduced engine power came on! I pulled over, cut the car off, then restarted it, and was able to drive home. #2. The seat belts on the front passenger and rear right sides lock up tightly the moment you buckle up. It locks up so tightly that you cannot move if you wanted. These problems showed while driving on miami streets. #3. On 2 or 3 occasions a strong smell of gasoline came into the car while driving. The smell seemed to be coming from inside the back of the car, but I was unable to locate any gasoline back there. On another occasion, I smelled gas outside in the area of gas tank.

I was pulling into my driveway and put it in park. I noticed I was to close to my home for the children in the neighborhood to run between my vehicle and the house so I put my vehicle in reverse to back up a little and backed up. I then put it in drive to go forward as it was to far out in the road, so I put it in drive and the gas peddle got stuck and I ran into my home. My question is, has there been a recall on the gas peddle sticking on this vehicle in the past history?.

The `plate light don t work rear wiper dome light won t shut off auto door won t unlock with remote some time door locks auto with out hitting switch this scary all my dash lights come on but don t shut down car pull over an re stater it.

I was traveling down ih146 toward kemah, traffic so I turned in the turning lane so I could turn left at ih646 this car came out of nowhere ,hit my vehicle then I surved into the other lane, checked my vehicle and seen that it was not damaged very bad. So I approached the young lady and asked her if she was alright and she said she was. Told her and showed her the damaged to my vehicle ,she asked for my insurance information and I told her that I had the old one ,but call me in 1 hour and I will give it to you; so I did , she showed me her vehicle and stated it was a old car; the plastic underneath was hanging down and I touched it and told her all she needed was to put some more screws to fix it on the right front side of her car and the front cover of her light was popped up just a little . I didn't think that I needed her information cause it wasn't a lot of damage done ;and she did not give me her information ,and she did not call the police the time it happen was at 5:30pm very hot.

While at the stop sign, my engine cut off.

Driving with my 5 yr old son and my car just turned off in the middle of driving causing breaks to lock and steering wheel to lock, crashing into an abandon truck. I contacted general motors regarding and was told that my car is not on their current recall list although the problems are similar to those of all the recalls currently associated to the recalls. I was also told that bc no one was injured and my car was not very damaged they can not do anything because it is not a mechanical problem, if either of the above would have happen then it would have been their fault. What that tells me is that I need to drive me car and if that happens again a god forbid that was to happen again and myself or my children are severely injured they will then address the matter.

I was driving and a guy in a car came over in my lane and hit me head on causing me to flip my vehicle 4 times, my airbags didnt come out and the guy that hit me was under the influence, my vehicle was totaled.

When my mechanic put my truck on the lift yesterday to change the water pump, he noticed that the frame is so rotted that he advised me not to drive it. And for who knows how long, my wife and myself, who are both disabled, have been driving this, putting ourselves and the public at risk. When I brought it to a Chevrolet dealer, they just said, no recalls on it, sorry! so now I have to figure out a way to get my wife and myself to doctors appointments, shopping, and all the other things we need a dependable vehicle for. We can't drive this, or afford to fix it, and we have no money to buy another one. Did I mention that we are filing for bankruptcy because my wife was mis-diagnosed by a doctor, lost her job, and now is in a wheelchair? or that our mortgage is going on 18 mos. Overdue?or that we have a new handicap accessible home to move into, but we can't get our current house packed to be able to put it on the market?.

It was drizzling that morning. I was driving in the far right lane. When all of a sudden my steering wheel was taking over my driving. My truck went left into another lane on its on. I saw another vehicle coming up in that left lane. All I could do was ask my truck what was wrong. And I started talking to the lord. Please don't let me hit this truck. Please help me. Next thing I was pulled back to the right hand lane and then off the road I went. I went through the woods over stomps and bumps. And then crashed into a huge tree. I fainted. I hheard someone yelling. I opened my eyes to life. The police came out. And the ambulance. Thank god I'm not to cool for a safe belt. Cause my airbags didn't deploy. I was told they may deploy at anytime so I needed to get out of truck. My seatbelt left its print on my neck and chest. The truck was crushed in. Wheels on passenger said were bent under truck. A total lost . .

Went off road through empty lot going airborne landing nose first in yard, striking three trees, continuing north bound into another yard striking two more trees and a deck.

Front end problems , 4 wheel low comes on at anytime . Problem after problems with this 2002 chevy trail blazer . .

Unknown reason loss of control of vehicle. Vehicle inadvertently went to the right side of road, vehicle rolled over several times. My brother was ejected and vehicle rolled over on him. No airbags had deployed.

When something was towed on the vehicle's hitch, it bounced up and down which caused the utility trailer to be lost while driving. Receiver hole in hitch needed to be decreased in size.
