Two problems related to other fuel system fuel gauge have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I saw an article in which you were testing Trailblazers for faulty fuel gauges and it looked like it only spanned for 2005-2007, I have a 2002 Trailblazers and have run out of gas now twice when it says I still have gas left, my light hadn't even turned on yet.
2002 Chevrolettrailblazer - automobile ran out of gas while fuel gauge still read 1/4 tank, no low fuel warnings came on. Car shut down in the middle of traffic, automatic steering controll disabled and atomatic brakes disabled. Near accident situation, coasted automobile off to side of road. No injuries.
