One problem related to tire bulge has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Bridgestone dueler apt tire purchased in 2007 experiences 2nd sidewall blow out of the original purchase of 4. Both tires sidewalls bulged, exploded while traveling on expressway at 70 mph. First incident in July 2009, second incident on September 24, 2009. Sears/bridgestone does not appear to be concerned about sidewall issues with 2 of the 4 tires purchased together.
