Two problems related to front seat belt retractor have been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle: 2003 chevy Trailblazer ssue: driverside seatbelt will inadvertently lock up when trying to buckle. When entering the vehicle, and reaching for the seatbelt, trying to pull the buckle over chest and buckle. The retractor (on occasion) will lock up, and not permit the webbing to move any further. This will occur for about 20 sec. Until the retractor loosens up, allowing the webbing to move. This vehicle has been in for service four times in the past year. Twice the retractor was replaced. Problem still persists.
Front end creak when on any bumpy road surface. Drivers front seat creaks at seatbelt mount on bumps as well.
