Two problems related to wheel bolts have been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While the consumer was tightening the lugs:nuts:bolts on the rear driver's side, two of the studs broke. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection and the mechanic determined that the studs needed to be replaced.
The consumer was unable to torqued the lug nuts to the specified 100 foot pounds on the left rear wheel and one of the studs broke. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and they replaced all 6 studs and nuts on the left rear wheel.
