The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that the front passenger side air bag warning indicator illuminated. When the passenger seat was occupied, the air bag sensor would not illuminate. Also, the contact noticed that the abs sensor illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer for further inspection, diagnostic testing, and repair. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 87,001.
The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact was driving 35 mph when the abs warning light illuminated and the brakes malfunctioned. The contact had to pump the brakes and shift the vehicle into a lower gear to slow the vehicle down. There was also an abnormal increase in stopping distance. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer where the dealer diagnosed the vehicle as having a faulty abs module. The dealer replaced the abs module. The failure mileage was 60,000.
