One problem related to tailgate latch has been reported for the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The lift gate on my vehicle would not lift all the way in late in 2005 and would only lift up to 1/4 of its actual opening. While on the interstate recently, it completely fell off flying into traffic.
