Tire Sidewall problems of the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Two problems related to tire sidewall have been reported for the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 08/10/2013

Michelin latitude tour all season tires had significant cracking all the way around the circumference of the tire on the sidewall near the tread. Tires were 2 years old. Some superficial cracks others were deep and wide. 65,000 mile warranty, only 25,000 miles on the tires. Size p245/65r17 105t orwl. All four tires had significant damage.

2 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 08/05/2007

Continental tire failure customer states that he had a serious blow out and that the tire sidewall completely separated from the tread this is the second tire to malfunction on his vehicle in less than one week* the consumer stated he is very concerned that 2 tires failed within a week and is really hopeful about the situation being investigated.
