Transmission Solenoid problems of the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer

One problem related to transmission solenoid has been reported for the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Transmission Solenoid problem

Failure Date: 01/04/2010

Driving to work soon as pull off the trans does not want to shift into second gear till you reach at least 2500 rpm's or higher and then jerks you in your seat. Only does this from 1st to 2nd gear shift, all other shift work proper. Could not make it to work that day (resulting in me being fired) instead had to take it to the transmission shop in which I paid 160 dollars to change solenoids, filter and fluid. This did not fix the problem. Had 55,000 miles when this happened. The trans guy says it needs a rebuild which is in upwards of $2000. Vehicle is 2006 Trailblazer ss awd model. A $45,000 vehicle with a bad trans at 55,000 miles is ridiculous. I have now 56,000 miles.
