general problems of the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Low tire presher lights stay on even when the tire presher is ok. Also I want to say the anti sliding feature says it is not working as well. I could be wrong about this feature but there si a button on the gear shift that controls this option. The button will not turn it on and off.

My doors have had water seeping in them the whole time and I’ve replaced my speakers multiple times.

This has now happened twice. In 2016, my car shut off while driving and I was able to start back up. The pass lock flashed and then it shut off. I changed the key thinking that would fix the problem. In 2017 the something happened again. I went to the dealership and they said they don't think it's the ignition switch and that was it.

- the liftgate does not lock. - the key fob no lomger work.

Somethings when the driver touches the ignition switch key to start the vehicle, it will start without the key being turned, just touched or slightly turned to start.

Driver's door master power window switch module, causing a shortage had to disconnect the the switch board.

I purchased this vehicle new in 2007. The vehicle has never been modified, or the computer pcm has never been reflashed. Recently I tried to get my vehicle inspected in new york state and found that because the obd system was updated with a new software on the inspection system in new york state, my vehicle is unable to communicate with the inspection computer. New york state department of motor vehicles has no resolution although the inspections are done for them. Opus the state computer monitor, states that they have had no issues with the inspection system. However during my quest to find a solution to my problem I have been told that some of the vehicles have a problem connecting to the new software updated just a year ago. I believe that if consumers wait long periods of time without proper inspections in nys these vehicles will be driven without the proper inspection. I have further been told by a Chevrolet dealer that these vehicles are now starting to surface as a result of the yearly inspection in nys. Many more a sure to come out in the following months.

My left turn signal works intermittingly. I have had the whote turn signal arm replaces and the circuit boards and lights replaced. Dealership is not able to find out what is causing the turn signal to only work when it wants to. The right turn signal, cruise control and wipers work fine. I can hear the turn signal click like it is making a connection but the light blinks on and off, then stops. It doesn't matter if I am moving or stopped, idling.

Heard a ticking sound in engine compartment checked , found broken bolt on right side exhaust manifold. It seems to be a common problem with v 8 engines.

A vehicle was stopped in front of me and I rear ended them. I was going around 44-55 mph. After I hit the other car from behind I crossed 2 lanes of traffic and went thru a pretty deep ditch. The air bags did not deploy at all. I sustained a concussion. , several head lacerations and a fractured lumbar spine.

Low beam headlights went out while driving at night. This is the 3rd time this has happened and it almost killed me because I was on a winding road with no street lamps. It was pitch dark. I threw on the high beams and saw that I was about to crash into the center divider. I was able to maneuver the vehicle and get it back on the road without an incident. I called gm customer assistance center and spoke with jason ext 11020 and he told me that the recall that is out for this issue does not include my VIN number. I explained to him that I was experiencing the same problem that the other Trailblazers are having and he told me that I would have to pay for this issue myself if I wanted it to be fixed. I need gm to know that my vehicle is having this same issue and it needs to be recalled for this issue. He also told me that your agency notifies them of when a recall needs to be addressed, not the other way around and that he would do nothing to help me. I have a wife and a son. Our life is in their hands. Please help me get this recall through so other families don't experience the near dead experience that we did.

I filled the vehicle up to full with gasoline. The bell chimed shortly thereafter and low fuel light, and warning came on showing low fuel. A few days later the check engine light came on. I received a notice from gm in 2013 about a possible problem with early wear of the fuel sensor causing this problem. They covered the expense of repair up to 120,000 miles. We now have 134,000 miles on this vehicle and the problem just came up, so will not be covered by gm. I have read many complaints about this problem with the Trailblazer online, so I know the problem has been identified by gm. I cannot afford the repair at this time and believe gm is not recalling this fuel sensor problem as they should be doing.

Gas guage now has frozen all of a sudden after 50,000 miles. I filled up my tank full, started the Trailblazer, and the gas guage only says tank is 1/4 full!!! ? the check engine light goes on and off along with the abs and stabilitrak lights. Sometimes they are frozen and stay on for days. I understand there are alot of problems with the electrical system on these vehicles! ? unfortunately! :-( and now. . . . . . The gas guage too???!!! this does not make me happy! always loved chevy vehicles! I don't know about anymore! how to rectify the gas guage????.

My car just shut off as I was driving on the highway. Luckily I was able to pull over. It took about 10 minutes for it to restart. This could have been a very bad outcome, but luckily I was in the inside lane and able to pull over.

In January 2014, I started my 2007 Trailblazer when I got off work and the washer fluid and wipers started operating on their own, and then they stopped. This continued off and on for about 2 months. My wipers and washer operating when ever they wanted to when the switch was turned off. One evening my husband was in front of me and the washers would not stop and finally ran dry. My husband pulled the fuse under the hood to deactivate the washers and the one under the back seat to deactivate the wipers. I drive my Trailblazer like this. When it rains, I put the fuse in the fuse box under the back seat and when it stops raining I take the fuse back out because my wipers now will not stop at all. We have replaced the switch on the column hoping that that was the problem because I had a 2002 chevy s-10 that had a similar problem.

My ac is malfunctioning and my fan clutch is out of whack. My brakes are squealing it is hard for me to stop. My engine sometimes stops. I need help with these issues and I have no more to pay for these issues plaguing me. Please help me fix my vehicle.

I can smell as if something burning, on different occasion. The headlights would ramdomly shut off, while driving. I would switch to high beam in order to see. The back hatch window, locks when it wants to. The airbag indacator lights come on and stay on awhile. The vehicle will stall and then accelerate at times. The tire pressure lights, does not come on when pressure is low. The check engine light comes on, and stay on awhile, and then goes off, and comes back on. The climate control heater system blows cold air. At one time the key would not come out of the ignition. Had to continue to giggle the key to get it out of ignition. Noticed my headlights did not come on when I used the remote entry to unlock or lock the door. The windows stall when going up or down. I have contacted gm , but they are telling me that my make,model and year are not part of the current recall. And that the letter they sent me, was to purchase warrenty for the vehicle. I feel that this vehicle is not safe due to this electrical problems.

The side view mirrors reset when you use the remote the unlock the car. They are preset for driver 1 & 2 and which ever remote unlocks the car the mirrors will re-align themselves sometimes moving around for 60 seconds or more. After all the movement they are not aligned for driver 1 or 2. It's a pain to have to realign both mirrors every time you start the car. I have positioned the mirrors where I want them, push the button to set them, wait for two beeps, and next time I start the car, they are randomly moving again. I have been to the dealer twice to have it fixed and the mirrors seem to be ok for a week or so then start with the random repositioning again. I am afraid the motors in the mirrors will burn out.

Was driving down the road transmission started to slip pulled over and had trans fluid everywhere. Replaced the lines and now not even 3 years later they are rotten again and will need replaced soon. I am lucky the first time they broke I didn't damage my transmission. I have seen where a lot of other people have and are having the same problems. It coast me around $150 for the lines and the fluid and filter to make sure there was no damage. I cant afford $150 every couple yrs.
