I first noticed the problem oct. 2016. The low beams went off on my 2007 chevy. Trailblazer. I stopped at an auto part store and bought new lamps, when I went out change the lamps I noticed that my lights were working. So I didn't change lamps. Then it happened again on 04/2017 and again they came back on then received this notice in the mail, and though the time limit hadn't pass the mileage had. If I had received the notice sooner I would have had it fixed then. I was driving on highway at the time! I called the 800 phone number on the notice I explained the situation to the person on the phone and I told him that had gone over 150,000 at the I had gone over 3,000 miles, he told me that my car would be taken care of and he gave me a case # ( 8-3085956921) he said someone call me with in 24 hours. After 2 days someone called me and said that could not repair my SUV because I had gone over the 150,000 miles.

Headlamps have gone off and/or turned back on while driving or starting up. High beams work. This problem was supposed to have been repaired in the last recall. My local dealer replaced the module causing the trouble. Now the same problem is happening again. This is happening off and on haphazardly. Can't depend on having lights when I want to go out at night. I want this fixed.

When driving with headlamps on low beam, intermittently both headlamps will go out. This happen to me while driving down a steep, curvy, highway on a rainy night. I was facing an oncoming big truck, in a sharp curve. Dimmed my lights and everything went totally black on my vehicle. All I hear is the horn of a big truck as the driver is trying to avoid my vehicle. I called my dealership and took my vehicle in only to be told that this make and model is not on recall, yet. So I am out of pocket for the repair, while other gm vehicles are on recall for this same problem. Called gm, was basically told, no recall, your problem. I have been a gm customer for 30 years, not anymore.
Low beam lights would not work. My VIN is not included in the current recall for the same issue. Repair shop replaced the defective relay. Part cost=$200. 35.
There is an existing recall but my vehicle is not covered according to gm. The recall headlamps that do not illuminate reduce the driver's ability to see the roadway and reduce the vehicle's visibility to oncoming vehicles, both of which increase the risk of a vehicle crash. Recall number: 15v519000 my car experienced this same exact problem and I had to get it fixed at a chevy dealer but now gm is refusing to reimburse me or consider this part of the recall because of where the car was built.

While driving on the highway the loe beam lights flickered on and off and shut off for a couple of seconds. The driver door window switch continually malfunctions while driving and stationary windows won't roll up or down and the fuel level gauge works sometimes and other times it won't.
Dem lights are going out for about 30 seconds to a minute, then coming back on while driving on the road.
While driving my vehicle last night the headlamps would turn off for no apparent reason. It did this several times. I was driving in town and on country roads.

Vehicle daytime running lamps and low beam headlamps failed again. Took to dealership but was closing time. Dealer documented failure but did not have time to diagnose. Manufacturer notified of failure (up to executive level) but refused to include my VIN in the existing recall campaign for headlamp failures. Husband, who is a mechanic, switched hdm module with fan module, and headlamps came back on. This points to same type of failure included in existing campaign. Please get these VIN's included in the recall. Mileage was 88,122 for this failure. Previous failure also reported. Impossible to get dealer to diagnose this when driver has mostly noticed low beam headlamp failure at night--when dealers are closed. What is the driver supposed to do when gm refuses to provide assistance with replacing the part--simply because they insist that a dealer firmly diagnose it. They cannot diagnose it if they're not open for business!!! see campaign number 14v755000. Note that high beam headlamps work just fine--just as the vehicles that ***included in the recall!!!.
