When I hit a bump, speed bump, water, rain, anything of the like, I get the stability control light and abs light, yesterday 9/13/79 I recieved the 4wheel drive maintence needed as well when I had the Trailblazer in auto 4wd, this isn't the first occurance and I believe this is going to end up being a danger to people especially those in the northeast, as a former firefighter I have seen what these failures can do not only to the car but to the people as well, for this I believe there should be a recall, so as to repair these issues. And make the chevy brand reputable again.

The headlights while driving will cut off. I have tried replacing headlights with no success. I saw an article about a recall on my car pertaining to headlights. When the article states you guys where told in an email, I don't see that recall on your page. Please contact me with information to fix this problem. Also, my stability control is not working. The light keeps coming on.
The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 mph, the stability light illuminated as the vehicle began to decelerate independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis. The technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000.
While turning around in a cul DE sac one morning that was on a steep slope I heard a popping sound and my steering wheel jerked and the brake pedal depressed almost to the floor in three stages like it was catching on something and then would release and the stability control lights came on. Once I got the vehicle straightened out to go down the steep hill it felt like it does when a rotor gets warped. Once I got close to the bottom I turned onto a side street that was flat and I stopped and put it in park and turned the engine off. When I started it back up the lights were off and the brakes and steering returned to normal. The lights coming on has been a problem since I purchased the vehicle (listed in another complaint to follow).
The fuel gauge on my 2007 chevy Trailblazer began fluctuating from proper fuel level reading to empty at around 74,000 miles. After few weeks of this, the fuel gauge now consistently reads empty after driving 115 - 120 miles on a full tank, which indicates a failure of the fuel sensing unit. I am driving the vehicle based on the trip odometer and I have run out of gas twice since this is not a reliable way to estimate the amount of fuel in the tank. Both times I was on my way to work a on heavily traveled bridge with no shoulder. This is a huge safety hazard!!! also at around 75,000 miles the driver side door lock stopped working and the electronic stability control off light and electronic stability control maintenance light periodically turn on.

While driving multiple times reaching a right hand curve at highway speeds the electronic stability control light flashes and the anti-lock brakes simultaneously engage multiple times sometimes bad enough to cause a wheel to slip. Dealer has been in touch multiple times with gm about the problem and claim they cant figure out what's wrong. Happens multiple times per week.
Purchased vehicle on 09-08, with roughly 45000, check engine light comes on and off, after several months of going back and forth at chevy dealer they determined it was a faulty cylinder head on the number four cylinder. Filed bbc complant and spoke with chevy who refused to do anything. Couple months later and approx mileage 60000, the fuel gauge no longer works causing me to run out of gas a couple different times. About the same time, the stability control system dash lights would intermittingly come on and off. I have not contacted chevy about the other two issues as I felt they would not do anything the same as the head problem.
