I had a flat tire. It took the aaa person 45 minutes to remove the spare tire. He indicated that the nut was rusted (the vehicle is a 2002 Trailblazer) and therefore "stuck"/unremovable. It took several tries and he had to put it back several times after trying to force it out. I obviously would not have been able to change my tire myself.
The consumer was unable to torqued the lug nuts to the specified 100 foot pounds on the left rear wheel and one of the studs broke. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and they replaced all 6 studs and nuts on the left rear wheel.
