My husband and I purchased a used 2009 Chevrolet Traverse from the local glenn Ford dealership around 02/2012. At the time of our purchase, glenn Ford "repaired" the tire pressure monitoring system. The light came on again a few days after we bought the truck. Since then and up until now, we have replaced a sensor and had the sensors relearned and reprogrammed at least 8 times. The light is still on, despite numerous dealership technicians telling us that the sensors are all functional. I am reporting this because I believe that this is a potential safety issue. I have two babies so I am very concerned.
We bought our 2009 Traverse ltz with towing package brand new in July 2009. From day one it has rolled backwards when in drive while stopped at a light, a stop sign, or pausing for traffic. Once, we rolled backwards into the car behind us even though my foot was on the brake. When I spoke to service rep at the dealership, he said it was fine, that's what they did. Obviously it was a problem because within a few years, chevy made a big deal about the new system that stopped trucks from rolling backwards when stopped on a hill.
The window remote on the driver's side that controls the up and down movement of the window on the pass side does not work. The truck was taken back to the dealer,it worked for a little while. This has been an ongoing problem from the day I purchased the Traverse.
