general problems of the 2010 Chevrolet Traverse

2-18-2022 complaint previous NHTSA report #11339183 ongoing complaint with additional information. Tag #[xxx] georgia. Onstar failed with direct manipulation from emergency management agency statesboro georgia daily mapping and stopping my vehicle chev Traverse ([xxx]) to harass, threaten and obscene language under high density radio communication and mobile cellular tower use blocking my cell phone [xxx] for games. Human not robot. [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

I have had all electrical work done. The lights keep going out on my truck. I replace the low beam lights frequently. I also have problems when I pump gas. The truck stalls and does not want to crank. I have had that problem fixed before and it is doing it again.

I keep having to get the air conditioning fixed. I had all of the electrical work done and replaced and a few months later it went back out. I replaced the condensor. I had more freon added and it still blows out warm air. This is the 3rd time that I have had the air to not work. Very frustrating! when the car is in motion, it still does not work.

My vehicle being track by law enforcement-mapping and stop at least once a week under different vechile codes ebd,eps,trac and radio waves by telcommuncationers coding my car most recently stop on 7-13-2020 . This is my complaint for investigation. My tag is rtt0049.

Timing chain as well as catalytic converter completely destroyed after the timing chain was installed by a Chevrolet dealership less than 1 year go. Check engine light came on vehicle went into safety mode and now will not start. Chevrolet will not help cover the cost of repairs since it is out of warranty. The car only has 48000 miles.

I bought this Traverse used with only 7,000 miles. After about a year, the radio and screen would not turn off after turning the car off and opening the door. It would remain on even after turning the ignition on and off or opening the drivers door several times. The front passenger window does not go down using the driver side controls, despite multiple attempts to fix it. I have learned to live with the issues when recently addition problems have appeared. For some reason it feels like I am driving with the emergency brake engaged or pulling a heavy trailer. Most of the time I have to press harder on the gas just to make the vehicle go. As a result, the gas mileage has dropped significantly. Also, suddenly the air conditioner for the driver blows only warm air while all the other vents blow cold. There is a constant clicking sound behind the dash and I am about to replace a second actuator. Finally, there is a loud noise from the engine like it is still running after it is turned off and the key is out of the ignition. I have to turn the ignition on and off again for it to stop. Even then, the engine fan remains on, which it never did before. All these started just as it was about to hit 80,000 miles.

Not sure I should do this but it has occured 2 times bow. My Traverse eccelerator gets stuck down and you cant atop. The only way to stop is put in nutral if you have the time. I am afraid to have my wife deive this. It happened for the 2nd time since I have owned it the other day. The breaks wont worm unless you put it into nutral!!!.

At approximately 10:30 am, we were driving east on I-270 outside of columbus, ohio. I needed to pass someone in a fairly tight situation and I depressed the accelerator fully to the floor. The accelerator pedal would not return or in other words, was stuck at wide open throttle. While this occurred, I glanced to the accelerator to see if anything was obstructing it. There was nothing obstructing the accelerator pedal. I put the car quickly in neutral and turned off the ignition, with a plan to glide to the side of the highway to restart. Luckily, while the car was in neutral and the ignition off, I was able to restart it and continue on my journey.

Throttle body went out at 66000 k miles. Was told by dealership that the sensor on throttle body shorted out. At the point that it went out. Power to the engine was reduced and car immediately decelerated, almost causing an accident.
