general problems of the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse - part 2

Driving on the highway. The headlight bulb burnt while driving on the highway. This could have been more serious then it was if I would not have been warned by a passing motorist.

The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and open a case # 8-4242692070. The approximate failure mileage was 44,000. Aw.

The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced stalling while being operated at various speeds. The failure occurred without warning. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact was provided with case number: 8-3794078576 and an appointment was scheduled with jba Chevrolet (7327 ritchie hwy, glen burnie, MD) to get the failure diagnosed. A dealer was not contacted prior to the manufacturer communication. In addition, the contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 14v614000 (electrical system); however, the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was approximately 57,000.

Battery keeps draining. Battery will charge and then when the car sits, something is drawing power out. The cd player and navigation cycle constantly.

The vehicle was taken to george morre Chevrolet (10979 atlantic blvd, jacksonville, FL 32225) where it was diagnosed that the motherboard needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired; however, months later, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to george morre Chevrolet, but the cause of the failure was undetermined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 76,000.

I took my car for service on 2/20/2015 and the next day the service airbag lights came on stayed on even after I turned the car off and back on. The next day it didn't come back on the following day which was 2/22/2015 it came on and again and stayed all day. On 2/23/2015 didn't come on at all then came back on again on 02/24/2015 and remained on until I wrote this complaint. I called my dealer and they gave me an appointment for 2 weeks on 3/12/2015 if something is wrong with the airbag I'm not safe and my warranty may no longer cover it at that time being this is my only means of transportation.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer but the failure was unable to be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred on three other occasions and was taken to the dealer each time. The vehicle was diagnosed on the third visit with an unknown diagnosis and was repaired, however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000. Sw.

I went to the service department of east hills Chevrolet to respond to the 2 recalls they had on my car. They found something else with the car and proceeded to fix that. After getting the car back, it has a new issue. . . . It periodically shorts out while I am driving it. I seems like it stalls, all the lights on the dashboard come on, but then it recovers and continues driving. I have three children and am nervous about driving this car. In addition, the radio will turn off and on for no reason and the doors will lock and unlock by themselves. My car did not have this issue before service. I responded to the dealer survey and emailed them about this new problem -- no response.
