Traction Control System problem #1

Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. While driving approximately 20 mph, the vehicle suddenly jerked and stalled. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle, and pulled over to the side of the road. When the vehicle was restarted, the contact heard a revving sound coming from the vehicle and it began to shake. The contact stated that the engine power reduced and traction control warning indicators illuminated. After pulling over to the side of the road, the contact turned the vehicle back off and waited a few minutes before they were able to turn the vehicle back on with no warning indicators illuminated. The failure occurred a total of four times. During the fourth failure, the service stabilitrak indicator illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic, but they could not diagnose the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in any recalls. The manufacturer provided a case number. The approximate failure mileage was 81,000.

Traction Control System problem #2

Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. While driving 35 mph, the vehicle stalled and the traction control warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was restarted after an hour. The contact mentioned that the failure previously occurred and the battery was replaced; however, the failure was persistent. The vehicle was taken to family auto mart (1900 aurora rd, melbourne, FL 32935, (321) 242-0328 )where the contact was informed that the vehicle was bought as is and that the electronic control computer failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

Traction Control System problem #3

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. While driving 55 mph on the freeway, the vehicle started to veer to the left and right independently. The contact heard a ding noise and the vehicle felt like it would stall. In addition, the instrument panel indicators flickered and the electronic stability sensor and traction control indicator remained illuminated. The contact notified the dealer (mountain view Chevrolet 1079 w foothill blvd, upland, CA 91786 909-985-2866) and was informed to bring the vehicle in for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer stated that they would notify the dealer and would call the contact back within 24 hours. The failure mileage was 80,000.
