The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, the stability trac and traction control warning lights illuminated. The vehicle loss motive power and stalled. The contact pulled to the side of the roadway, restarted the vehicle and the vehicle regained some normal functionality. The contact stated that other functions took up to an hour to start working as designed. The contact stated the failure had occurred approximately 100 times. The contact had the fuse box replaced after being advised by a certified mechanic that the fuse box should be replaced however, the failure persisted. The contact took the vehicle to fuccillo Chevrolet of grand island (2000 alvin rd, grand island, NY 14072, (716)773-7505) who repaired the brake pedal however, the failure persisted. The contact returned the vehicle to the dealer who stated the brake sensor needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.
