1 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 05/04/2019

I have had my car for only two years. I do mainly highway driving and a little residential street driving. My steering rack and front suspension lower control arm mount brushing failed. I had to have them both replace at cost of $2,495. I asked the chevy dealer if this something that they typically see and I was told that my issue appeared to be defect, but since my vehicle does not have an active recall and I am just went over the $36k bumper to bumper.
