1 Brake Fluid Leak problem

Failure Date: 05/15/2020

Vehicle brake system failed allowing the pedal to travel to the floor. Only a small about of rear brake pressure allowed the vehicle to stop. Issue was discovered to be a failed master cylinder leaking all brake fluid into the brake booster, sucking in air causing brake failure. Had the car not been moving very slow when this occurred, there would have been a serious accident. Vehicle only hs 39k miles. I am being made to pay for repairs out of pocket. Working with gm to understand if they are willing to pay for a brake failure on a almost new vehicle.

2 Brake Fluid Leak problem

Failure Date: 04/22/2020

When driving, the brake warning light came on saying " reduced braking power---get service immediately. Safety concern. I took car into the dealer. They diagnosed that the master cylinder seal had failed and that brake fluid was leaking from the master cylinder into the brake booster. Dealer says it is not covered by warranty. I can't believe because of the low milage and significant safety concern that this repair would not be covered.
