general problems of the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse

Burning oil. There is something wrong. I took it to the dealership I still have warranty I really think this needs to be looked into.

I was driving to work at 0530 on 11/10/24. I was on the highway driving the speed limit. A light came on that read "service esc". Within 2 minutes of this light coming on, I heard a loud noise and the tail end of my car started to spin out. My power steering went out, my brakes did not work and I hit the guard rail very hard. The "electronic stability control" system in my car, turned off on me with only a minute warning, and almost killed me. My car was totaled and deemed a complete loss. Any advice would be appreciated.

Months ago I was driving, my 2020 Traverse I hit the brakes and I heard a weird grinding noise & my car started wobbling, I figured I needed my brakes pads changed, I took it to waldorf chevy they looked at the brakes and told me everything was good I didn’t need pads and everything was ok, they said sometimes the pads get dust on them causing them to squeak, and wobble, I had the front pads replace at a local shop they also looked at the back brakes and said the back pads were good, sometime later I was heading to work I stopped at a gas station and the car wouldn’t start. On the chevy app it said my antilock brake system and stability control needs serviced which was weird it gave no warning I had it diagnosed the mechanic said the engine seized I towed it to another shop they said the same thing I towed it to chevy they insisted it was the battery I told them it was the engine, they later said the engine seized but not before charging me $500 for a diagnostic, $371 battery plate. I got oil changes regularly and often did preventive maintenance.

2020 Chevrolet Traverse. Consumer writes in regards to defective brake pedal.

While driving at slow speed after releasing the emergency brake there is a squeak coming from the rear of the vehicle. It feels like the brake stays a bit engage.

Tl- the contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated her husband was driving at 50 mph and when vehicles a head of him started to slam on their brakes the contact husband then depressed on the brake pedal but the steering wheel and the brakes on the vehicle locked which caused the vehicle to slid into crash into the rear end of a utility truck in front of him . The vehicle then caught on fire. The air bag did deployed. No warning light illuminated on the vehicle. The fire was extinguish by the utility truck driver on the scene. No one injured. No medical treatment was needed at the scene a a police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a impound where then the insurance company had the vehicle towed where they plan to inspect the vehicle. The local dealer nor the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 7000. Vw.
