No warning lights were illuminated. A dealer was contacted, however the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the exhaust pipe had corroded and cracked, leaking fumes through the muffler and y-pipe.
