I am unable to control my vehicle. Something in front end of vehicle pushes and pulls the vehicle from left to right without being able to regain control. Loud popping and clunking while turning. . Braking has also been a majoir issue along with suspension/steering issues. I would greatly appreciate these things to be fixed immediately beings there has been a recall years ago and I was never notified!.
My radio turns up and changes by itself . It’s leaking oil an I’ve replaced everything a can’t figure it out , if anything it’s the engine it just won’t make sense . I dumped so much money into it already.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle, the vehicle failed to emit an audible chime, indicating that the seat belts had not been fastened. While driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact heard an abnormal clicking sound coming from the front end of the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the passenger’s side upper control arm. The vehicle was repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 19v652000 (suspension) and NHTSA campaign number: 16v422000 (electrical system, equipment) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 94,000.
The passenger side control arm is messed up and this is throwing the vehicle out of alignment.
The contact owned a 2015 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that her daughter who was driving at night and got to a detour, and made a turn, driving down hill. The contact stated that based on the police report, the driver stopped, attempting to avoid driving off the road, she tried to pull the vehicle back to the middle of the road, it appeared that the vehicle did not turn to the intended direction and caused the vehicle to crash into a tree, resulting in a fatality. The driver, a 26-year-old, was thrown out of the vehicle. The vehicle rolled over her and into an open field. The air bags deployed. There was no known warning indicators. The contact stated that according to the police report, the front driver's side seat belt was twisted and unlatched. The vehicle was totaled and towed to a police impound lot. The vehicle was later towed away by the insurance company. The contact later received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 19v652000 (suspension). The dealer was not called. The contact called the manufacturer who took her information and stated that someone would call back. The contact was called back but was unavailable. The manufacturer was not called back. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.
