1 Paint problem

Failure Date: 11/13/2020

The vehicle was stationary on a city street when the paint on the lift gate flake off.

2 Paint problem

Failure Date: 07/14/2020

The paint started to peel off the back panel of my car under the back window. Dealership and chevy said it did not qualify for corrosion warranty and did not provide assistance. It wasn't even covered under extended bumper to bumper warranty that was purchased through the dealer. Paint should not be falling off of a new vehicle after 4 years for no reason. Other brilliant blue chevy Traxs have been having same issue when I researched issue. Definitely a bad batch of paint used during this time period.

3 Paint problem

Failure Date: 07/03/2020

Vehicle was purchased new. In less than 3 years the paint on the hood had a large patch of paint flaked off to the metal. I was told it was not covered by warranty. Within the last year, there are more places on the hood and now a larger patch of paint on the trunk that has bubbled and /or started peeling off. The vehicle has only been washed by hand with a household hose and gentle cleaner made for cars. As a matter of fact, the original paint peel resulted from try to rinse the vehicle with plain water. Due to all of this we are going to have the whole vehicle repainted at less than 4 years of ownership . Ther is also an undiagnosed electrical issue. The radio and phone controls on the steering wheel are not functional and we are unable connect any devices using bluetooth. Also temperature measurement is missing from the display.

4 Paint problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2019

My paint started peeling off the rear of my car. I've taken my car to different dealers and have been told that there's nothing that can't be done bc I'm out of warranty. There are several cars that I've seen in my community same color, (blue) same location where the paint is peeling off there car as well. The paint job itself is going to 5,000 dollars. It's not my fault but seems as if the blue Chevrolet Trax paint needs to be recalled.
