Tl- the contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the service brake light had illuminated and later the brake pedal had extended to the floor while attempting to stop. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer homewood Chevrolet(18033 halstead st. Homewood IL) who diagnosed that the brake line had become disconnected and needed to be replaced due to a loose driver side brake caliper hose bolt. The vehicle was repaired and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 7500. Jft.
