I am submitting this complaint to report serious, recurring, and potentially dangerous safety defects involving my 2024 Chevrolet Trax. Timeline of safety-related mechanical failures: March 12, 2026 – first highway safety incident while driving to work on [xxx] [xxx] ight activated, and the vehicle began to hesitate during highway operation. This occurred during my daily commute at highway speeds, creating an unsafe driving condition and serious concern for vehicle reliability and safety. March 15, 2026 – diagnostic codes- p0521 – engine oil pressure sensor/switch range or performance- p06de – engine oil pressure control circuit stuck on concerns include oil pressure, lubrication issues, and potential engine damage. April 27, 2026 – second highway incident while driving on route 78 after work, the vehicle experienced another failure:- severe shaking- check engine light- unsafe operation code:- p0300 – random/multiple cylinder misfire detected gm case numbers:- xxx- xxx manufacturer and dealership awareness: general motors and the dealership are fully aware of these repeated issues. Made first report after car was at shop over 60 days case# 1168 5928 nhsa motor and screen made report to gm customer service 1-800-222-1020 case # 78472987 on 10-3-2025 received 2024 chevy Trax back from ozark Chevrolet on about 9-21-2025 from motor being replaced on 9-22-25 check engine light came on took to dealership they said it was a quart low on transmission oil from them replacing motor the next evening check engine light came back on car started ticking at 45 mph and reduced power notification came on pulled over checked for leaks was none proceeded another mile and car quit running called ozark Chevrolet they said have it towed to them on 10-6-2025 ozark Chevrolet called said it blowed another motor the same way the 1st motor blowed they said it would take 7-10 days for motor to be in motor #1 blowed at 19,200 miles. . Motor #2 blowed with less than 200 miles on it.
The car only have 4700 milles and the check engine light comes, I use a obd2 reader and the code p146d appear. Checking this code it’s associated to a old recall in others cars including the chevy Trax years 2020 and up n232395300 bulletin I would like Chevrolet take responsibility for this recall it’s old and continue using parts with problems.
