The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander. When the vehicle was shifted into drive, the vehicle would move backward. The failure occurred twice. The contact called the manufacturer and filed a complaint. The dealer stated that the contact would have to submit the vehicle for a diagnostics test and would be responsible for any repair costs. The current and failure mileages were approximately 71,000.

2 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 02/02/2006

After 30 days of owning 2005 chevy Uplander, dealership had to send a tow truck to come pick my van up on the side of the highway. The transmission had gone out. After several months it has started acting up again. To the point they have replaced the transmission. The jerking sensation when putting the van into reverse is still there.
