The driver side seat belt does not buckle into the latch. There's a metal piece inside the latch blocking it from sliding in and snapping in. This started happening a few days ago, preventing me from driving the van since I can't use my seat belt.

Driver seatbelt will not buckle properly. It takes about 4 attempts to secure the seatbelt.

3 Seat Belt problem

The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander. The contact stated when he inspected the vehicle he noticed the third row seat belt was not bolted onto the floor. The dealer stated there was nothing they could do to correct the failure. The manufacturer was contacted and denied assistance with the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 71,000.

4 Seat Belt problem

My 7 year old daughter was sitting in her booster seat with her seatbelt on, in the rear passenger seat of our 2005 chevy Uplander. She leaned forward to pick something off the floor, and the seatbelt ripped out of the seat.
