Air bags failed to deploy when a dump truck driver ran a red light on the highway at 50+mph without hitting his breaks at all. I was at the intersecting light that was green so I had just started to pull into the intersection to cross over the highway. The front driver's side quarter panel is smashed to the motor, hood ripped off and mangled. The dump truck spun us 180 degree's and drove up over the front windshield. Myself in the driver's seat, my fianc� in the front passenger seat and our 5 year old daughter in her car seat in the driver's side bucket seat all wearing seatbelts all sustained head injuries and not one single air bag deployed in my vehicle.

2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 02/24/2019

Tl the contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander. The contact stated while upon accelerating from a stop light, she crossed the intersection and another vehicle rammed the front driver side of her vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The contact was transported to the hospital by ambulance as the contact sustained knee and body pain. The contact stated that her front seat passenger, rear seat passenger, and a baby in a child seat later sought medical attention at the emergency room however, their injuries were unknown. A police report was filed. The contact stated her friend came to the scene and drove the vehicle to her residence. The vehicle was taken to an auto repair store where the vehicle was diagnosed with various failures. However, the vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was not taken to a local dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000. The VIN was not available.

3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2018

Tl the contact owned a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander. While the contact's son was driving at an unknown speed, another vehicle crashed into the rear of the vehicle. The contact's vehicle flipped over five times and crashed into a telephone pole. The occupants were extracted by the jaws of life. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The air bags failed to deploy. The driver sustained injuries to his bones, head, and eye sockets. The passenger sustained a fractured collar bone, scratches, and bruises. 4 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 03/26/2017

The contact owned a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander. While driving 15 mph, another vehicle driving approximately 40 mph crashed into the passenger side of the contact's vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The daughter sustained internal bruises in her stomach that required medical attention. In addition, the wife sustained a leg injury and stomach bruises, which did not require medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed and towed.
