In the last couple weeks I've noticed that my door locks are not unlocking when pressing the all door lock release button. I went to the store on Saturday, November 16, 2013 and was locked inside the car for 45 minutes. There is only one key entry on the entire car, driver door. (my remote has not worked since I bought the car used in March 2012. ) I had to flag a person down in the parking lot and have them use the key to open the door. Because this is a fire/safety hazard, and I have 3 small children, I am afraid to drive the vehicle anywhere.
1 opened drivers side rear door at day care. . Closed door and it feel to the ground. The silver piece that slid on the track on the side of the vehicle completely broke off. I go inside the car to call assistance after picking the door up and putting it in a restin position on the car. I get inside and the doors lock and will not open I could not get out of the car. I go to dealership and they fix it making me pay for only half of the part and no labor. I go pick up my children and the door that was suppose to be fixed will not shut completely but locks and my driver door will not open because it is locking its self. My children were stuck in the car in hot texas weather with out airconditioning. Luckily the door opened after a minute or so of my pulling and unlocking and locking the door. This was very scary for two reason what if the door falls off while im driving and what if I cant get my kids out ! I will be taking it back in the morning vut it was very scary. 2 twice 3 new piece and hinge put on sliding door.
