When I'm stop and I press on the accelerator the van jumps or it starts shaking I took it to the dealer I was told it was the trasmission. They did a full service oil change and everything on the transmission. And it continues to do the same thing when I press on the gas pedal it doesn't get the next shift and it jumps my passengers get scare it fells like someone hit us from behind . Nothing pops up on the dash board no check engine or anything it's the transmission and I don't want to put money in it . It does it everyday I don't want to drive it I'm scared it won't go when I try to accelerate or it won't get the next gear and I'm going to drive 10 mph.

My traction control light has been staying on sometimes the van accelerates on its own and service stability light comes on. Too the brakes have a grinding catch in brake pedal when pushing it when going down my driveway. Also the van has hesitation on starting you have to give it gas to start. These problems happen while youre driving. I just had a new transmission put in, but these problems started before my transmission went out.
2007 chevy Uplander cv axle splines not long enough to fit all the way into hub splines cause shuddering from cv axle wobble. Frequent clicking from changing gear to gear is a result of the cv axle spinning inside the hub (press brake and gas) the remedy for this problem of shuddering and stalling at when at a go from a stop is the replace cv axle with one that has a longer shaft with splines that actually extend through the hub so that the hub nut threads do not enter the hub bearing and the cv axle splines run all the way through. The wobbling on take off is from the axle not gripping inside the hub, sort of like a dradle as the hub does not completely grip the axle shaft.

2007 chevy Uplander cv axle splines not long enough to fit all the way into hub splines cause shuddering and hesitation from cv axle off balance wobble. Frequent clicking from changing gear to gear while vehicle still is a result of the cv axle spinning inside the hub (press brake and gas) the remedy for this problem of shuddering and stalling when at a go from a stop or transitioning to slowing down is to replace the cv axle with one that has a longer shaft with splines that actually extend through the hub so that the hub nut threads do not enter the hub bearing and the cv axle splines run all the way through the hub (instead of partially/less than halfway). The wobbling on take off is from the axle not gripping inside the hub, sort of like a dradle, as the hub does not completely grip the axle shaft the centripetal force goes off balance.

As shown in the video link below you will see the long term effects of the errors concerning this issue. What would happen if one would place a rod through the center of a washer and whirled it around like a jump rope . Off balance at a high rate of speed it will rip through as shown below. . The first thing that I noticed was the warning system posted "stability system error". While driving on the highway, with my foot on the accelerator, the brake depressed with some agitation of catching or jerkiness. This has occurred multiple times with no real pattern of consistency.

I have noticed right around the time I got this van that just it just started making this clunking sound coming from the rear end and making a noise that I couldn't figure out. The drop down modular has been really bogging down around 50mph and makes me give it more gas to stop the kick back. The engine light came on after buying a set of 4 new tires for the van. I bought what the van recalled and the check engine light came on and wont go off. I have had it checked out and still wont shut off. I have kept the oil changed at required times. I noticed the fuel system also has been giving the van a harsh mpg issues and not sure why. I think it might be the drop down modular that is causing this problem. I now been having since 2011 the clunking sound coming from the rear end axel area and then after reading about the recall today really made me scared to drive this van because I'm disabled and in a wheelchair. I have the lowered floor option and I know its going to need this recall fixed and welded. Please send me a email on how I can get this van fixed. I wanted to also tell you that this van was sold to me at $32,850 and had a blown engine that they didn't tell me till afterwards. At 20,000 miles the van blew up and they sold it to me as new and it was used. They also tried to sell me a extended warranty that was paid for by the manufacture for $3,500. I feel I was done wrong and would not of bought this van if I had known it was blown up at 20,000 miles. I would like to request a review to have it inspected and fixed with the welding that the recall calls for. Thank you.
