One problem related to child seat tether strap has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Venture. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The built in child safety restraints in the middle seats of the van are defective. The latch which goes across the child's chest, pops open when tugged on. This occurs on both restraints (one restraint has not been used) which makes me believe that it is a manufacturer's defect.
