Three problems related to mechanical jack have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Venture. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The jack that came as original equipment with the the vehicle failed while the consumer was replacing a tire.
While changing the tire on the vehicle the jack buckled in half.
Consumer went to change tire by using factory jack that came equipped with vehicle when it bent, causing vehicle to fall, barely missing consumer's leg and damaging bumper.
