Two problems related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Venture. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While warming vehicle the shift gear went from park to drive without indication, causing vehicle to travel without consumer inside vehicle. Please provide further informaton.
My van would be all right until I would come to a stop light or stop sign and then it would start to lurch and it felt like the motor was in a diffrent gear. If I would turn it off it would work fine. It would not do it all the time - it cost about 537. 00 to fix it. And it was a pres control solenoid.
