Car Stall problems of the 1999 Chevrolet Venture

Two problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Venture. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Car Stall problem

While traveling at any speed vehicle would stall without any indication. Dealer has been contacted, and could not duplicate problem. This was the fourth time. Manufacturer has been notified. Please provide further information.

2 Car Stall problem

Air filter is emersed with moisture, causing vehicle to stall out and die. Dealer has inspected vehicle. Stalling occurred when downshifting, power steering was lost during stalling, dealer stated stalling occurred because of a swamped air filter that choked the engine, consumer stated vehicle would restart with no problems.
