This September I came home from my nieces wedding and went to open my passenger side door and it wouldn't budge. . I literally had to kick the door open. It has happened on numerous occasions now, I was told it is a problem in the wiring. The wiring under the floor mats aren't protected enough and become corroded because the floor boards gets wet.

2 Door Hinge problem

Re-occurring problem with manual sliding doors of 2000 Chevrolet Venture van. Doors come loose and have fallen off their hinges. Vehicle has been repaired, but the door problems continue.

3 Door Hinge problem

Failure Date: 08/19/2002

While opening the side door the top hinge broke and door was hanging by the bottom hinge only. The door hit consumer's foot. Ts.

4 Door Hinge problem

Failure Date: 02/21/2002

Sliding door fell off vehicle.

5 Door Hinge problem

While backing out of driveway door came unlatched. Door dislodged from vehicle at top. Door hanging on by bottom hinge. Dealer contacted. Please add VIN.
