The vehicle was taken to a independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 00v228003 (seat belt). The approximate failure mileage was 186,000. Mf.
I've had my seat belt for 2nd row seats fixed several times. The seat belts become lock and wrapped around the seat. The dealer has had to physically remove the seat to get the seat belt to retract. I currently cannot use the seat belt until I get it back into the dealer.
Airbag light came on; determined to be right seat belt pretensioner failure. Replaced at our expense of $265. 41.

Rear passenger seat belt became dismounted from its housing. Leaving it inoperative. Chevrolet has not been contacted at this time. The dealer has re-attached the seat belt to housing.
