The contact owns a 2001 Chevrolet Venture. The contact smelled gasoline and noticed fluid on the ground. He then observed a crack in the fuel inlet check valve. The dealer stated that the VIN was excluded from NHTSA campaign id number 07v349000 (fuel system, gasoline:storage), although the failures were identical.
