Wheel Problems of Chevrolet Venture

Bought 4 new goodyear viva 2 tires at walmart in approximately 2014 sometime. According to local tire shop they have 2014 date codes. Van started developing a low speed wobble when driving. Front l tire was low on pressure so took to a loca shop to have it checked thinking I just needed a patch. Wrong! the shop discovered a tread separation on the inside sidewall! luckily I was not driving on the highway. After coming here and reading all the other almost identical complaints to me it looks like there is a trend of bulging/poor ride quality/blowouts and tread separation from these walmart goodyears. Luckily I only made a 2 mile round trip from home to a friends and I was able to catch this before I had a blowout.

Other part affected is the jack this style van rusts thru in front of the rear wheel well where the jack is supposed to be placed to replace the spare tire. There is no longer any structural support resulting in a dangerous condition where the van can fall off the jack if you attempt to put the spare tire on. As a matter of fact my Chevrolet dealer, at about 170,000 miles, crushed the whole area of my car while they put it on a lift to replace my transmission lines. I can never safely put the jack at that location. That is what alerted me to the problem whereas the rust was there very early in the life of the van!.

Vehicle vibration upon the road, almost undetectable until having vehicle inspection. Because of the potential risk and operation of this moving part, it has been a span of three years by which the wheel bearing hub assemblies were replace on (left-front) & (right-rear) of the chevy Venture. Parts were replaced upon inspection for tire and tread warranty inspection.

The cam-kit in vehicle is unadjustable therefore the tires cannot be aligned without causing excessive tire wear.
