Brake Master Cylinder problems of the 2012 Chevrolet Volt

1 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Volt. The contact stated that while the driver was driving at approximately 20 mph, while depressing the brake pedal to the floorboard, the vehicle failed to stop. In addition, the contact stated that the driver had to placed the gear shift into park and was able to stop the vehicle. The contact coasted to the side of the road powered off the engine. The vehicle was restarted the contact was able to drive. The vehicle was taken to south-pat o'brien Chevrolet dealership located at 3880 pearl rd, medina, OH 44256 (330) 460-0718 where it was diagnosed that the brake booster hydraulic and master cylinder failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 62,000. Aw.
