One problem related to transmission gear indicator has been reported for the 2018 Chevrolet Volt. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Car sends notification to "shift to park" when shifter is in the park position and gear selection indicator display indicates "p". Car will not shut down until shift to park condition has been satisfied by finessing the shifter. This is an issue of safety because the car cannot be turned off.
