The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the cylinder head needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. In addition, the contact stated that while driving at 20 mph and going down a hill, the brake pedal was depressed and the brakes hesitated to respond without warning. The failure occurred on two occasions. The contact also stated that while reversing, there was an abnormal noise. The contact discovered that there was a leak under the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, who diagnosed that the power steering lines needed to be replaced. The technician discovered that there was another substance other than brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir, which caused the brakes to hesitate to respond. The vehicle was repaired but the repairs were unknown. The contact stated that she was concerned for her safety even though the necessary repairs were performed on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 44,000.
