While the vehicle is in motion after a certain distance the vehicle transmission switches gears from drive to parking to when coming to a complete stop the vehicle doesnt let any gears to be shifting being stuck in the parking gear computer then says "service transmission" and "service parking break" as well as "switch to parking then select desired gear" to which no matter what gear its shifting to it says "select parking gear then desired gear". No matter what the vehicle stays like that until eventually it will move but until it repeats the same thing again after moving again at a certain distance. This has happened to me multiple times I a residential street, and a store parking lot.
The car shift to neutral in the middle of the road while driving and slows down. The light comes on in states that service transmission service brake system service parking brake. When you put the db scanner on it it says that a wheel sensor is the only problem. When a new wheel sensors put on there the same problem recurrs.

I was driving around a curve going 15 mph and my car just stalled out on me. I tried to restart my car and it wouldn't, just stuck in the middle of the road. I tried to start the car and unable to do so. After several attempts I was able to start the vehicle and get back home. I tried to drive my car a couple of days later and thr car stalled on my and the stop light and then again at the street light. Thank god I didn't have my kids in the car. This is really unsafe and needs to be resolved.
May 5, 2020. I went to start my car & it says the engine is too hot to start. Strange. The next day it says the same thing so I call a tow truck to take it to pep boys. The car was stuck in neutral and the emergency brake wouldn't release so they were unable to tow it. They give me a jump start & I take it to pep boys. They test the battery & showed it was just fine. I seemed to have no problems soon after leaving. Later that night, I went out to check on it just to make sure it was working. Once again it wouldn't start. Then I noticed the dashboard menu had a black screen & wouldn't turn on. I kept trying to turn the car off & give it a few minutes before turning it back on. Then the air conditioner stopped working correctly once I turned it on. The temperature inside the car was 100 degrees I thought this was causing a problem for the engine so I tried to turn it off. It kept blowing onto the windshield & wouldn't shut off until I turned the car off. I tried to start the car & the battery wouldn't crank. It just was stuck on run without the engine running. So I was officially stranded at home, but I'm glad it happened at home instead of somewhere else. I don't have aaa so I wasn't sure how I would get my car back to the dealership which is an hour from me. Thankfully a relative came through & helped. But when I initially went to pick up the car on 5/13, once again it didn't start. So they kept it for a few more days to see what was the problem. It was an electrical problem like I thought. I now have the car today & so far all is good. However I am upset no one told me this car had 8 recalls. Before selling it to me & I'm a new driver! this has been a major inconvenience & I fear this will happen again. I'd like to have it recalled & replace this with a new vehicle completely. I can't attach these files but I have videos as evidence I will gladly email if needed.
On multiple occasions since I purchased my vehicle in 1/2018 I've experienced issues. When putting the vehicle in drive it wants to stall as soon as I press the gas and putters along until it gets enough energy and when trying to gain speed the vehicle doesn't have enough juice to go such as getting on the highway, I normally have to drive in the medium to get enough speed to move into the traffic otherwise I'm bound to get rear ended. The slightest bump in the road causes my airbag light and notification to come on. While pulling away from stop signs and traffic lights the vehicle turns off and takes about 5-10 minutes to start back up , unable to move steering wheel to move vehicle out of traffic. Lights on the inside ( dash, radio) dim extremely low during daylight unable to see anything. Ive left my vehicle with a Chrysler dealership for 2 weeks to get a diagnostic and they couldn't replicate or find anything wrong and still charged me. When the problems persisted and were more noticeable and more often they charged me again with no results. Now the check engine light is on and vehicle just staggers instead of gaining speed.
Transmission pops up on screen drivin it pop up I pulled over the whole car jerk I put in park it drove again no problem then it happen before I pulled in yard.
As I am driving down the road the vehicle will completely stall out. The first time it just seemed to have had a dead battery. I got a jump it was fine. After that the transmission died so I had to stop the car turn it back on and my check engine light remained on but it drove fine. Three days later, it dies again while driving. Both times it had died while being driven electronically were on 55mph roads. The time my transmission died it was right down the road from my house so I wasn't going too fast.

My car will lose power as I am driving. I have to stop and shut it off then restart the car and it drives fine. Also valve cover gasket leaking oil. The shop guys said he use to work for Chrysler and this is a very common issue in Chrysler 200 & 300. Also a few other Chrysler vehicles. If this is a problem it should be fixed and not continue to use the same parts.
My 2015 Chrysler 200 is saying it can't detect the fob. The fob is in the car with me. Now I have to start my car by putting the fob at the vent near the steer column. The brakes was hard and would not release when I push start to start the car.
Two times in the last week my car has stalled while I was driving. The first time I was turning onto a busy street and was stuck in the middle and the second time I was on railroad tracks. No lights came on to indicate a problem before it shut off. It took multiple tries before the car turned back on. No codes come up when checking for a problem so mechanics have told me there is nothing they can do to fix the issue.

The car starts fine, but will die when idling or at a decline in speed. Will shut off have you place the car back in park to try and restart. Sometime it will start after 5 seconds after shut off and others will take a few minutes. Its a hard restart when it does start, and drives rough for the first 5 miles or so, and returns to driving fine. My car has done this mulitple times at red lights and while turning onto a exit ramp durning the deceleration onto a highway.
When the vehicle is in neutral is sputters and the electrical flickers. I replaced the battery and it is still doing it. The rpms randomly fluctuate and it's not consistent. I feel like the vehicle is just going to stall out as I'm driving down the freeway. Also the ignition button I have to hold on and cannot just push the start button. It's just not running properly.

The vehicle was diagnosed by 2 different repair shops with the follow codes: u1504, p0610, p1500, u0420, c0051, c212a, u0402, c1246. Ultimately, the pdc (power distribution center) is not working. There have already been several recalls on this issue with this vehicle and the recall dates do not reach our vehicles manufactured date by a month. The dealership is refusing to cooperate and help with notifying you of this issue that is affecting more consumers than you are under the impression. Please respond to this in a timely manor. My husbands vehicle will not be usable until this is settled.

Vehicle suspension seems to have gone bad. 2015 sedan now sounds like an older car when riding over rough spots in pavement. Also, awd not available light first flashed on when taking a left turn on rainy day. It was followed by service awd indicator light coming on. At first these indicator lights would come on intermittently, but now come on each time engine is started and the service awd light now stays on until the engine is shut off.

Since Dec 16, 2016 my car has stalled multiple times , I have filed multiple bbb complaints as well as having it inspected , towed , new key fobs purchased and my car literally will stop on the interstate putting me and my family in danger. It, has broken down 15 times since I purchased this vehicle and I'm sick and tired of this. I want this settled.
The meaning of the light that comes on is electronic throttle control system.
While driving the instrument cluster went out. Speedometer and all electronics and displays went out. I had to pull over on the highway and turn off the car and back on and the display went back on. The check engine light came on and when I took it to the dealer they said the codes that came up are inconclusive. This is the 4th time this has happened and it seems to only happen during warm or hot weather. This is very concerning while driving. The car shut completely off while in an intersection while attempting to make a right turn. The car shut off during a right turn. The car shut off while backing out of my garage. The car jerks as if a ghost is hitting it from behind in the middle of take off from a complete stop at a light or stop sign. Since I have had my car the service airbag system has came on several times I got it fixed once before, I have had to replace the throttle control body, and thermostat, also it's saying d1-d9 when I drive. It's so many problems and I've only had the car two years.
While driving my 200 I lost control of my steering. The check engine light the steering warning light as well as my traction light. I could not turn my wheel at all.
Either myself or my wife have been driving our 200 and while driving it stalls outs. It has happened a number of times for just over a month now. Yesterday I was driving it and it made a bell sound and then I saw something flash about oil but it went off the screen pretty quick. I was slowing around a corner. This morning my wife was driving the 200 and stated that the vehicle stalled twice as she was coming up to stop signs.
The car goes into neutral by itself while driving on the city street. Warning light indicated I needed my transmission serviced while driving on the highway then went away after I let the car sit. Transmission slipped during that time causing the car not to be able to accelerate properly to keep up with the speed limit. Key having problems with my left front tire suspension. Battery died out the blue while parked. Key fob says its undetected but I have it in my hand. I have to put the key directly on the ignition button then push the button to start the car. I wanted to also indicate suspension. The car rattles while driving on regular bumpy roads. My left tire has an issue the mechanic couldn't figure out.
While excellerating the car will hesitate. Sometimes this causes the car to jerk very hard, other times the car acts like its stuck in between gears I have almost been hit a few times because of this. When I am stopped and go to take off it will almost stop and them jump forward real fast. Other times it just jerks a few times and takes off. When I first bought my car it shifted into neutral on it's own a few times. This stopped once an update was done. My check engine light used to come on and go off. Now it stays on. We have taken it to advance auto and the scan tool will not read any codes. The radio, touch screen and steering wheel controls will randomly stop working. I had an alert pop up saying the engine temp hot and service electronic throttle control. The car has been nothing but a headache. My basic warranty has expired. I don't know what to do.
I have had this car 3 months and the following this has happen numerous times over 10 and almost cost me my life along with family members. 1. I have a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving my car will just stall in the middle of traffic and not move, air bag light continues to come on repeatedly. I've had this issue looked at twice by the dealership. They charge me and swear it's fixed. This is the third time this has occurred and I get no one with the dealership. The situation is horrifying and unsafe. I decide to place a review seeing I'm getting nowhere with my local dealership. I just need the issue resolved.
Randomly if I hit a bump my airbag light will come on. Now for a 2015 200 limited why am I needing to replace the whole starter assembly and now to have to replace the air shutter grille. The vehicle headlamps are extremely poor. It's very hard to see see on all highways, side streets etc. Now the traction stabilizers light came on as I was backing in to a parking space as well as my brakes just started making a squealing noise out no where as driving on the street. There no reason why there should not be a recall on multiple vehicle issues as most people are stating. Why isn't there a number I can call to file a compliant with all the vehicle issues I've experienced? this just crazy then to have to come outta $1,300. 00 for vehicle repairs is crazy! why does this vehicle stall when the oil is low shameful for the vehicle to stop and and barely start back! tires sucks outside mirrors always have to adjust this brand is garbage!! people everywhere is having issues with the vehicle starting. . Takata recall: where do I start. I have been having many issue with this car the latest issue which just happened my car wouldn't turn on and all the lights on the dash board would turn on the �service transmission� �serivce brakes� will turn and they would start flashing. When I would try to change gears my nobe would stay on park but the nobe would be turning! I would have to turn my car off and attempt to turn it back on then it would work. Now my brake is hard and my nobe will not turn my car stayed on neutral and now won't even turn on. Also before that the brakes system alert would go off from time to time. Other times my car would turn off out of nowhere. Overall my experience with this car has been bad.
There's been an issue with my electrical systems for about the last two years. It's been giving a couple of signals of what's wrong with the vehicle but there hasn't been anything related to that issue( airbag service needed, steering sensor) and it has been draining my battery down and my battery is not even a year old. It had to be replaced last year because of that, luckily it was under warranty. But I've heard of these issues from the past that it's a possible recall.
Active grill shutter error code. Ags shutters are easily broken, these shutters are not meant to withstand ohio winters. A small amount of ice build up caused the shutters to brake and/or got stuck closed. I've had to remove the ags completley to discover every shutter was broke. Without the ags working correctly the check engine light is on 100% of the time and the automatic car starter is canceled out. It was a normal winter day when I discovered the problem. My car was stationary and the driveway.
Twice in one week my car stalled and quite once while driving on a main road with mild/moderate traffic. The second time was while stationary in a parking lot attempting to put my car in reverse. The service engine light will pop on and off periodically and the service parking break light and the transmission light will come on. This has happened several times before during the first recall for the electrical system. The car will stall and I have to turn it off to put it in park. It doesn't happen every time I crank the car, but often enough for my concern.
This vehicle when I purchased it has been having multiple problems. The transmission has been slipping into neutral while I am driving at least twice a week. I have to pull over cut the vehicle off and re start it. Also there's always issues while I try and start the vehicle. I have taken it to five different mechanics to fix the problem. New alternator,new battery,five different diagnostics made. The extended warranty mentions that I need to bring it to the dealer. Which I have twice. They re set the software which did not fix the problem. It still slips into neutral. Cottman transmission did a diagnostic that I paid for out of pocket. They informed me that this problem and the codes that came up are manufacturing issues. Associated with bad electrical wiring as well as a bad set up for the transmission. Also the same model make and year for this vehicle there was a re call for the same exact problem and code. The extended warranty company covers these problems but told me to bring it to Chrysler to fix. Chrysler has checked my vehicle twice and re set the system for the light to come off. Of coarse the problem was not resolved. Now everyone is still pointing the fingers at each other. This has been going on for over a year. My factory warranty should fix it under the power train warranty also silverrock should fix it under my extended warranty contract. There has been no resolution. I have to consistently take off work to maintainance this car. Please help.
Takata recall my airbag light keeps coming on after I already took it back to get it fixed at the dealership. My engine won't turn on when it is hot outside, the car takes a long time to excelerate on the city street and highway.
I was in the middle of driving when my car without warning began to shutdown. And since I haven't been able to start up the car . The battery completely lost life in which I don't understand because the car was in very good shape . The miles on the car is approximately 67,500 it was 56,100 when I purchased it .
After vehicle has been driven for a while, the check engine light, traction control, abs and airbag light comes on and the vehicle loses driving function momentarily and the gas pedal does not move the car for a few seconds. Then I have to press the gas pedal down heavily to get the car to travel at a low speed. The transmission doesn't shift properly and this normally last for a while then stops. A code reader says 'high speed can communication bus' I took it to the dealership and they said that they could not simulate the issue so they couldn't do anything. It normally happens when it is very cold or below freezing outside. Also when it is a hot day the vehicle unlocks it's own doors, starts itself, pops the trunk on it's own when I am nowhere around and the key fob is nowhere near which is dangerous and can cause my car or my belongings to be stolen.
Car was in motion on the highway. Lost power and the dash read "service transmission" "service park brake. " I could not get the shift knob out of "d," despite turning it left and right. I was able to maneuver to the shoulder. Able to turn car off, and eventually restart and put in drive. This same loss of power occurred 3 more times, before it stayed in drive and I was able to get to a mechanic. Found nothing wrong. I read there was an r24 recall for Chrysler 200's built between January 2014 and September 2014, citing loss of power and having the same display that I observed on the dash. My dealer is telling me that my car is not under that recall - which I know. However, I tried to reiterate my concern over my safety of having complete loss of power on the highway and experiencing the same issue as the r24 recall. I asked if they could look at my vehicle as having that same issue as the recall, but I was told they cannot. The dealer needs to treat it as a separate mechanical failure, despite this problem being identical to the recall. I expressed concern for my safety and may family's safety, and that I would like them to approach this issue with the concern they had with recall vehicles with the same power failure issue. I decided not to take my vehicle to the dealer, as I do not want my power failure problem (with the exact same symptoms as the r24 recall) to be run through the same diagnostic tests that my mechanic ran it through, to no avail. As with the r24, I want the dealer to focus on the power distribution center electrical connector. I suspect that other 2015 Chrysler 200 awd drive vehicles are experiencing the same power failure that I had. Thank you.
A transmission warning light, service electrical throttle, air bag warning lights came on my 2015 Chrysler 200 purchased from enterprise cat sales in may of 2016. . The vehicle began hesitating while driving as if I was shifting in neutral. I took my car to three rivers chrylser dealer west liberty avenue in pittsburgh in February of 2018. I also asked to have my brakes done. I was asked to purchase a new upgraded vehicle which I declined. I took my car back several times between three dealeaships between March and June because it was in worse condition than when I gave it to them. Smoke coming out of the tail pipe, sounded like a mack truck, stalled, coolent leaking. I had it towed three times. They would not give me a loaner car and were not helpful in anyway. I returned it to another dealership this week now June. The electrical throttle light came on again, engine warning lights coming on and I was told the car was unsafe. I believe this car was recalled and the recall repairs were not done on this vehicle. I contacted the warranty company that had my extended warranty. My car was under warranty when I brought it in February. According to an email, the dealership submitted the services "supposedly" completed in February to them in March and April after the warranty had expired. I believe they purposely did not complete the work in February in order for my warranty to expire and I have to pay them out of pocket. Now I have a car payment and no vehicle. The car tries to stall out every day in the middle of driving and while it's trying to stall out tends to jump and accelerate on its own. On June 6, 2018 my Chrysler 200 was involved in a collision. This collision took place in akron ohio do to the car jumping, accelerating and eventually stalling out and locking up the car, so I was unable to break or steer. The car ended up rear ending another vehicle due to myself not being able to control the locked up car. I have been into the dealership that I bought the car from multiple times urging them to fix the problem. And every time I go in they say that there is not a problem it just needs a software update. Takaya recall- my car has been shutting off when I come to a stop and it takes 10 to 15 minutes for it to cut back on this has been going on and off for the past year. I took the car to a local Chrysler dealership and they fixed the problem for a few months then it started back shutting off again it's to a point we're im spending to much money on trying to get the car fixed and it doesn't last because the problem keeps reoccurring.

Recall # s55 NHTSA 16v529 my car mil light came on last night 04/20/2018 while on the freeway doing 70 miles, stating the transmission needs to be serviced. Once I got of the freeway turning right on the street the car acted as if it didn't want to go, driving at a very slow speed around 40 miles. When I came to the light to stop the car seemed as if it was going to cut off, idled low and when the light turned green for me to go the car was still a the driving speed of no more than 40 miles. Once I got to my destination, I informed my fianc� of the issue I was having. We went back outside after reading the cars manual around 10-15 minuets after. He started the car and the transmission message was gone but the mil light was still on. He placed the car in drive and moved it forward and then in reverse to back it up. The light was still on but he told me that based on that the transmission didn't seem to have any issues. The next morning on 04/21/2018 , I tried to auto start my car, got in the car and on the dash read disabled so the car didn't auto start. This is the first time I have ever experienced that other than when the car is low on fuel you can't auto start the car and my car had a full tank of gas when I tried starting it this morning. So when I started the car manually it no longer showed the mil light and while driving on the street and freeway back home it seemed to be driving and shifting fine. I have noticed that my car on multiple occasions, while driving has a delayed time when shifting to pick up speed and this is after the car has been running for a while and I've been driving for some distance. I have an 2015 Chrysler 200s that slipped in neutral while driving and wont come out.
The radio screen freezes all the time. The radio goes in and out all the time. This past winter, I could not use my heat for a long period of time before the lights would start flashing about the throttle, it is very scary when driving and all of a sudden the dash board starts flashing.
Car stalls while driving on highway and city streets rpm ranges all the way to 9 rpm then suddenly goes to 2rpm while driving car also goes to neutral independently, dash lights indicate service park brake, service transmission, service abs, car revs in park position as if accelerator is depressed when starting, driver side window intermittently works while driving.
My car suddenly stalls and unable to start the vehicle for 1 hour and all the lights on the dashboard flashes.
I've experienced air bag service warnings along with service parking brake warnings and service and. At one point I was on cruise control goj g 65 mph when all of a sudden all the warnings came on at once and my car shifted itself into neatral and then loss power for a second. Luckily no one was behind me. I never received a notice of this recall but when I looked it up there was in fact a recall.
Brakes, front wheel bar or something, thermostat, bought the car in August 2017. Haven't driven it very much at all. Now all these problems and I paid a great deal for this car . The transmission also acts funny at times. Not wanted to shift or shifts hard. The car was on the highway when the thermostat went out. Everything dropped on the screen and red thermostat came on and red letters about something hot stabilizer, throttle body, something.
Driving to work and all of a sudden I got two alerts on my dashboard signaling engine temperature hot and to service electric throttle control. The cars performance after these alerts was poor and it was very loud. It was struggling to get past 40mph. Took it to a shop and found my thermostat, the housing, and sensor needed replacing. Also found out the memory of the controller needed to go back to a dealer to be erased and re programmed which is not my fault.
A few days ago the check engine light came on and according to the manual it was not serious but if continued, to have the code checked. I had not had the opportunity to go, but all seemed to be running normally. I was driving on the highway last night and the thermostat light came on and said something regarding the engine temperature came across the messages. I drove to the nearest gas station and checked underneath the hood, and the engine seemed fine. . . Not very hot to the touch so I decided to try and take it to pep boys to have them check it. When I turned the car back on, the light was no longer illuminated and the message was gone, however the check engine light was still on. The pep boys technician checked the code, the code that was read was p0128. I spoke with the technician and he had said he had seen a lot of this issue with the 200 models and advised me to check the recall. . . Which does not have my vehicle for any.
The vehicle has begun throwing an error message that the engine is running hot and the electronic throttle control needs serviced. The vehicle is running fine and does not appear to be running hot. The lights go off when the car is stopped and come back on about 20 minutes into the next trip. The dealer stated this was not covered under warranty and quoted almost $700 to replace the sensors. We have had the vehicle less than one year (2nd owner) and just rolled over 60,000 miles.
S55 recall concern: I feel completely unsafe in this vehicle!! I bought the vehicle in October 2017 starting in late November early December 2017 the vehicle started shutting off by itself when I am driving it shifts to neutral by itself and completely dies. It happens randomly when I am braking or accelerating. This happens at least every 3-6 miles I drive and I have to drive alot working an hour away. This is very scary especially when you are turning in the middle of an intersection and it just stops. Sometimes it gives warnings by lighting up random lights like slippery road, the check engine light, and sputters so I can anticipate it since it happens all the time!!! I am being told that it is because the vehicle is due for an oil change even though I am not over, I use full synthetic done by the dealership, and this is a safety feature for the vehicle but to me this is no safety feature if anything it is a death trap waiting to happen. I have had this vehicle less than 6 months and I am afraid to ride around with my child in it not knowing what will happen. In fact I go out of my way to go around intersections or dangerous expressways because I am afraid it will stop with her in the car. Please help!.
Purchased car 10/2017. Almost immediately problem with seat belt light. Dealer said needed callibration and did. Problem persists. Also have problem with something in car turning over, jerking, while driving, almost like car wants to stall, on highway and on city street. First occurrence approximately November 2017. Most recent occurrence December 27, 2018.
My airbag light has came on after having my oil changed and it won't go off 5/6/2017. Then yesterday 11/6/2017 my car would not start because my battery was dead but I just purchased the car used in March and the battery should be dead after 2 years. My check engine light ended up coming on after having aaa jump start my vehicle and I'm just having issues that I shouldn't be experiencing and I'd think my airbag should still be covered under warranty.

The check engine light always is on the light of the air bag warning is off and on and most of the time remain on the system does not indicate when the tires are under the pressure . Water enters through the passenger left door,making the door very heavy.
Dash lights come on, electric bolt light shows, and car does not accelerate. Car is parked in drive way. This is the second time this year this has happened. I took it to a Chrysler dealership the first time a month before, they fixed the recall and cleaned the throttle body. I will have to try to take it in for a second time.
On October 2, 2017, as I was preparing to start the car, I noticed that the bell kept ringing. And when tried to start the car, it wouldn't start. So after sitting in the car for about two minutes, it started, but hesitantly. Also, the air bags warning light had been coming on since last week. I was driving when the warning light for the airbags came on.
Mostly hwy driving~engine light comes on, transmission light is on and vehicle speed decreases, unable to accelerate. When I come to a complete stop, most times the screen will reset, the engine light will go off with in the next day or two. Stored codes have been p1da9, p073e. I've taken the care to the dealer, software reset-only solved the problem for a short time. Searched for recall by vehicle and there are at least 7, but when searching by VIN # states none. This has happened numerous time but I will enter most recent date with complaint.
Vehicle is a safety hazard. On 7/28/2017 I almost at a fatal accident and almost ran off of the road due to impair vision. 1 of my complaints to dealership and Chrysler was that my front windshield defroster is not working. I have expressed my concern and fear to both parties. Also, I have other on going issues with the transmission, stalling, hesitating, pulling side to side, consuming gas, jerking, making a clucking noise, hvac issues, drive shaft and shifting gears.
The car will not crank even though the key fob is in close proximity. It can take up to 1 hour (sometimes more, sometimes less) to get the car cranked. The car starts at random. . . No special technique can be used to get this car to crank as it should. The key fob works for locking, unlocking doors; however, it does not work to start ignition. I have replaced the battery in the fob, had the car's battery tested (it's in good working order), taken it back to the dealership of purchase twice. I have been dealing with this issue for several days now in upper 90 degree weather in florida. The vehicle is immobile/stationary. The occurrences have happened at home, work, grocery store, restaurant. Additionally I have noticed that the car skips while in motion. It feels as if something gets hung up and then releases. This is unsafe and frustrating. This car is crap!.
I purchased the vehicle froma local certified dealer in the end of April 2017 in may I had to have it towed to there location becasue the vehicle wouldnt turn on or respond they claimed it was the battery but ever since then the car been shifting weird the told me it need to be taken to a Chrysler dealership. Just last week (July 4th weekend) I was driving to a friends house when the car wouldnt go past 35mph as soon as I stoped the vehicle stalled. Itried to turn it on but it wont and it kept the starter even tho I let off the start button. I was scared to think it may cause a fire. 2 days after that I got the sama situation but this time the display would not work and the car stalled again resulting me to apply the hazards and try to avoid to get hit by vehicles. I have a current vedeo that show what it was doing.

Right now I have the car at the dealer ship cause it lost power. . . Note: I was driving at the time my car would only go 20 miles per hour I was on a busy street I had to pull my car to the side and drive it to the closes place to stop and check it out. . . I had car behind me honking it was a nightmare.
Takata recall . . The car would randomly shut off . . The lights would start flickering and going crazy . . . Messages would randomly pop up saying key fob not detected . . . In the mornings when I would try and start it the gear shift signal lights would go crazy . . The morning it died on me I tried to start it the car was complete shut down mode roadside came it took us 45 mins to start it when it started the car was stuck in neutral and would not switch out the car lights locks everything electrical started flickering like crazy took it to Chrysler they said that they had three other identical cars to mine that was just brought in with exact issue they told me it was a computer glitch and it wasn't covered under my warranty I paid 400$ picked it up and two hours later the car started doing exact same thing then shut off completely in middle highway got it pushed to gas station and the battery was cracked in half leaking acid and the car was stuck in neutral again and completely locked down.
Takata recall. The electrical system in this car has me afraid that if might catch a firer. The dashboard light brighten up and dims down at times. You push one button and it goes to another on the screen. I can not accept the yes to connect my phone on the screen, the engine is stalling when in motion on the highway and city streets. This car is lemon. I have only had it for 1 year and 9mths. There was a coolant leaking and every time they change the oil it was just refilled even after I brought it to there attention. There was a oil leaking around the oil housing and leaking to and over the motor and transmission. The u connect screen features does not work properly and can not update the radio.
The vehicle is continuing to have these defaults as shown in pictures I'm experiencing more defaults in this vehicle and that I was told that there is no recall for chrylser cars and that I'm afraid of either getting hurt or someone else getting hurt maybe even killed due to these faulty issues that needs to be checking and that I don't have any kind of warranty on this vehicle.
My car doesn't want to come out of neutral. Sometimes it doesn't start and when it does the performance shifting is not available. Also my passenger air bag needs to be service. And every thing that's wrong with my vehicle Chrysler has a recall but my vehicle is not included.
The car has a several second hesitation when placing your foot on the gas when starting from either a stopped position or a slowed position. The car has stalled on several occasions when going from reverse to drive, when slowly backing up it looses power and stalls as I put my foot on the brake to change from reverse to drive. The emergency brake has come on while slowing down coming down an incline causing a car behind me to have to swerve from hitting me my vehicle was going approximately 25 miles an hour at the time. All of these have been reported to Chrysler and motorworld where I have been told there is nothing that can be done.
The purchase of this car has been a headache since the first month of ownership. I immediately had to have a new transmission put into a brand new car, which is unheard of. There have been at least two re-calls for different parts of the car and I'm tired of spending money on a car that is a lemon!!!.
Driving about 30 miles per hour and the car completely cut off while driving, it was dark on the road and I became scared, this was the first time, then the next day the car did the same thing while I was driving speed of 63. This could have killed me and my sisters.

Vehicle is reporting p0128 and p2181 error codes. While driving, vehicle gives an error message that says service electronic throttle control and sounds like it is running really loud. When I turn off the vehicle and turn it back on, the warning goes away and it sounds normal again. Also, have been driving and the car just shuts off out of no where and wont turn on for a few attempts. This has happened on the freeway. Vehicle also seems to accelerate when trying to slow down at a stop sign or light.

Purchases car on Aug 4, 2015 since day I purchased car it has had a hesitation when shifting into drive at initial start. You start car and turn dial to drive but if u immediately try to take off the engine will just rev as if your in neutral it takes about 15-30 seconds once you turn the dial before car is in gear. After about maybe 10,000 miles I noticed car would sometimes jerk as if it had been stuck in a gear maybe this has randomly happened several times around 60+ mph brakes hard and difficult to push down had to stand on them and still barely stopped. Shut car off and restarted 20 min later and they were fine. Service awd light came on at about 60,000 miles after purchase and install of brand new tires. Went off and came back on about a week later and car began making a high pitced winding sound (sort of like an open faced fishing reel when you cast or reel it in) then all the sudden heard a big clunk when sit ring at stop sign it was loud and jogged the car to the point I though maybe a deer ran into the side of the car. I took off but immediately pulled overy and walked around the end car to check and didn't see anything. Noticed when I took off the winding had quit. But the next day it began again took car to dealership because the winding noise had gotten so loud they told me they couldn't check it while doing oil change had to be scheduled. I raised hell until someone came out from service when oil change was done and went for a ride with me. Noise was completely gone serv awd light still on tho scheduled appointment to have light turned off for 4 days later. Drove 30 miles when I left dealership and it began again stopped to drop kid off and was headed back to dealership but when I restarted car noise gone and awd light was off. Noise comes and goes over next 2,000 mi now awd light back on and car is horrible in snow without awd.
In June 2016 the awd light came on while I was driving on the parkway. A call to the service dept. Said it could be a glitch in the computer, turn it off for a while and restart. The awd light continued to light up. I took it in for service the dealer said it was a computer chip problem (ptu module was bad) that took 4 days two fix. Two weeks later on 7/18/16 after noticing dark spots on my driveway I took the car in, the diagnosis was a leak of transmission fluid in the bell housing causing the transmission in a 2 year old car to be replaced. An hour ago, (7/28/18 9:30p) I was driving 60 miles an hour on the gsp when the battery light suddenly came on and "shift to p" message came on in the dash. The "d" on the gear shift panel started flashing about a min later the vehicle began to lose power. I pulled over and restarted the car. It started up I was barely able to get to the side of the road on a dark highway with lots of traffic. It was a catastrophe in the making! this is the 3rd major issue with this new vehicle.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact waited for approximately a minute to restart the vehicle and drive home. The vehicle would not start again and was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the power distribution center failed. The vehicle was repaired back in November of 2015 for the same failure. Engine stalls out.
The vehicle has just shut down in midst of driving no warning nearly rear ended on three occasions. Then will not shift into any gear it has been sent for repair twice. I am afraid to drive it again in fear of being in an accident due to vehicle shutting down with no warning. Vehicle is always in motion when this happens on busy city streets, when driving or turning. Please help! this is the 3rd episode 3/24/16, 4/16/16, 4/23/16.
I was about to turn right onto the street, when I felt loss of power. The car etc, mil, and etc indicator lights came on. Transmission goes into stall mode, does not go over 30 mph, speeding up and slowing down and shaking excessively. I've only had this car for 10 months. Now if this was to have occurred on a weekday I would have been on the freeway and this would have caused a major accident.
This vehicle has experienced transmission problems since month two, taken in multiple times to be told a variety of reasons why the car isn't working. Car stopped twice in the middle of the road, wouldn't start or move (with my children in the car both times). Currently car will speed up when you take your foot off the gas, also car transmission thuds into gear feeling like the car is literally going to fall apart. Been told that everyone is aware of the problem, no one has a solution. In the mean time the car is clearly unstable, unsafe.
On sept 23, 2015 I took my car into ed voyles because I had been experiencing problems with the shifting of the transmission of my car. The check engine light came on and the transmission was bucking and jerking while driving 30 mph. I had to throw the car in neutral for it to stop. The service mechanic test drove my car on sept. 23 and noted that it was shifting hard but since there was not an open recall for it they could not fix it. On October 24, 2015 I received a letter in the mail stating that the an open recall on the power distribution center and electrical connector. I tried to schedule an appointment to get this problem fixed with ed voyles (the place I purchased the car from) to no avail. They informed me that Chrysler was not accepting orders for the part that I needed and that they could not do anything until Chrysler let them order parts. I just purchased this car in February 2015 and it should not be doing this at all! the recall states "this may result in an engine stall or a shift to neutral event. Either of these conditions may cause a crash without warning. This is a serious problem and my safety and my life is at risk and the dealership is not willing to fix it. Please help before I get an attorney involved for lemon law violations in the state of GA.
I was on my way home from work when at a red light my check engine light goes on, transmission and park break service lights go on and as the light turned green my car did not accelerate. I put my car on park turned my emergency lights and then shifted to drive . My car then kept changing shifts. As an attempt to get my car home which is only 7 min from work I drove it slowly and every stop I made my car would take at least 2-3 minutes to accelerate. As I arrived home the steering wheel got hard and displayed a warning to put emergency break to prevent from rolling. It then displayed service transmission, service park break, service engine. The next day I took my car to the dealership but was told nothing about a recall for my car.
Tried to get recalls repair but dealership continue to refiuse to repair.
5/19 the engine stall while driving of NJ parkway, was able to coast to side of road. Towed to dealer for service, dealer said it was a sensor. Got the car back on 5/21. On 5/23 it happen again, the vehicle was towed back to dealer for same issue. Was told some pins were loose in the wiring harness. Got the car back on 6/6. On 7/6 it happen a third time, on 7/8 the dealer told me they could not duplicate the problem. Car still at the dealer service area liccardi motors. When I called to talk to the dealer, I was told to claim lemon law you must go through the courts.
My family and I where exiting the freeway off-ramp, when all off a sudden the car stalled on me. My kids where absolutely scared, they where very nervous when a car almost hit us. On one occasion a car came from the side swerving towards us honking nearly side swiping us. At this point in time I am very dissatisfied with the safety of the car. My family means the world to me, never did I think a brand new car will give me an absolute turnaround on the safety outcome it's given us up until now. I received a letter along with a phone call about the recall on the make and model that I purchased (Chrysler 200) recall status. I immediately set up an appointment with the dealer to take it in for the following recall service: 14113 ro1 recall wc 0. 50 reprogrammed pcm and tcm module. Then 14 days after the service, the car broke down on the freeway putting myself and my family in harms way of a tragic accident. My wife is terrified at the idea of driving that car again for fear that something might happen while she's driving alone just her and our kids. At this point I am very concerned for my family's safety with this car because it could it been a lot worse. I expect a speedy solution to this issue and I am seriously considering trading in this vehicle for another with a better safety record.
1. 1st car shutdown April 7,2015 - stopped accelerating while in motion. All warning lights illuminated on dashboard; warning statement indicated "transmission failure"; drive shift lift blinking and could not shift 2. 2nd car shutdown April 10 Chrysler 4/10/15 the very next day the same scenario occurred again - car shut off while in motion and all warning lights illuminated with indicator "transmission failure" displayed; drive shift blinking and unable to shift gears when at complete stop. 4/20/15- received call from Chrysler confirmed transmission test failed per recall ro8 and transmission must be replaced. I'm Chrysler recall #r08 NHTSA recall #15v090 recall date 2/10/15 safety defect/non compliance description and safety - damaged transaxles internal could cause park rod failing to engage park feature received car on 5/1 - total transmission replacement 3. 12 noon - 6/3/15 car fails again. Warning light "serv trans" and "engage to park failed " 9/15/15 oil change completed 4. 9/17/15 car stalls while in idle park position. Turned car off waited 10 minutes while reporting to roadside asst then car starts. 5. 9/20/15 @ 1800 attempted to update software for r40 recall. Followed instructions but when the screen did not change as per instructions I called uconnect help line and was told the wrong device was sent to 2015 models. 9/20/15 @1900 9900 miles car stalls three times while in fast food drive thru, at red light on bullard, while driving on major street - drive shift light blinks - also, when placed in park, car continues to move 6. 9/22/15 car stalls again in the middle of the street despite repair of safety recall r24 power distribution center electrical connector. Car isn't picked up until 2130.
Vehicle engine cylinder walls suffered from excessive scoring during the time it was manufactured. The car constantly stalls, shakes, and jerks when driving and during idle periods. This vehicle is very unsafe to drive, due to the fact that control over the vehicle is limited because of theconstant shaking and rumbling of the steering wheel while driving. While I was driving the Chrysler car on the highway, the vehicle almost shut off completely, subsequently putting me and my newborn baby at risk of a fatal accident. The vehicle has also been diagnosed with many other issues with the power train components of the engine. One morning in my garage, the 200 would not crank when pressing the push button ignition and after this, the manual transmission would not shift the vehicle into neutral in order for the car to be towed. This vehicle was purchased brand new in 2015, and Chrysler has failed to fix or acknowledge these issues.
I have been trying to get my car fixed for a year. The dealer mac haik in georgetown TX has said that they cannot replicate the problem. My car hesitates when I step on the gas and when it is put into gear it lunges. This is particularly annoying when the car first starts. I have told them over and over and they just say that their transmission man is out on leave. This is a beautiful car that I absolutely hate because of how it drives. I contacted Chrysler and they said it has to go through the dealer. I am frustrated and very aggravated. If this is the american import of the year, we are in dire straits. This is an unsafe car! this was not the car that I demoed and when I said something to the salesperson, he and the service person said that the car had to adjust to the way I drive.
