The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While operating the vehicle, the emergency brake light suddenly illuminated and the brakes erroneously engaged and caused the vehicle to stop moving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on multiple occasions, but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle continued to exhibit the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. Park brake switch light was on would not disengage the cable was take. Of battery to try to reset the settings didn't work! my car had to be towed to nearest dealer I have not receive letter on no recall.
Stopping the vehicle as I was traveling down my street, came to a stop sign, hit the brake pedal, became extremely stiff and hard to stop. No longer stopped after that and had to be towed to nearest Chrysler dealer. Brake light came on and a service electronic brake warning came up on info screen. Luckily was not traveling fast enough so I still managed to stop with parking brake and shifting into neutral.

The manufacturer was contacted and could not provide an estimated date for when the contacts vehicle would receive the recall repair.
