general problems of the 2017 Chrysler 200

Engine stalls while driving and displays message that I need to shift to park to restart. This has happened several times. I have not taken it to a mechanic yet but stopped driving it because it is unsafe. * this problem is mentioned here several times.

While driving down the interstate my car jumped a little then I could not go above 20 miles and hour. Once I arrived to a safe location I turned off my engine and then restarted. It seemed ok, but during the incident there was a flash on my dash that said "check throttle". I took it to a service station and they ran a code check on the vehicle. They stated the following: 1. Ecm (engine control module) 2. Tcm (transmission control module) 3. Orc (air bag/occupant restraint) my car is a 2017 Chrysler 200 VIN 1c3cccfb0hn50107. It has 55,600 miles on it, actual miles. Car shuts off without warning when driving.

For years now, my car has randomly, without notice, stalls, says “shift to p” and goes limp. There’s nothing I can do in that moment besides try to get to safety before the car stops in the middle of the road. I’ve brought it in multiple times with no change or information as to what’s causing it. One dealership claimed I just needed an oil change which it didn’t but to prove my point, I brought it in after it stalled 2-3 days after an oil change. At this point, there’s been zero help or care. It’s only a matter of time until it causes an accident. Other owners definitely have this issue as well since they’re reported on here too. Any help? or do all of us just lose money or potentially more…?.

Engine and transmission mount(s) were separating from vehicle.

Has happened on highway and city streets when I accelerate sometimes the rpms get stuck at 4000. And there is also lag from my acceleration when I take off and will get stuck at high rpms when I slow down while coasting and braking only way I've gotten it to stop is by tapping on my gas again.

The vehicle literally cuts off while I am driving I have taken it the shop and when they put it on the machine it doesn't register any error codes or malfunction codes. However, it still shuts off. I have children and don't want to be in an accident when I know my car will shut off at a moments notice!.

I can be driving at regular speed but if I turn the corner or start to dexcelorate or start slowing down, my car will shut completely off. This has happened on numerous occasions and the car dealership keep saying it's no recall on my vehicle.

Tl- the contact owns a 2017 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, while decelerating the vehicle start to pulled and all warning indicators illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that while driving, the vehicle lost power without warning and while in traffic the vehicle was restarted and was able to drive normal. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that it needed an oil change and was to take the vehicle to a Chrysler dealer. The vehicle was later taken to posner park Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram fiat dealer, located at 42650 us-27, davenport, FL 33837, (863) 438-3333, where it was diagnosed that the battery failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,428. Aw.

I purchased a 2017 Chrysler 200 limited from steve lander's Chrysler Dodge Jeep February 12, 2018. On February 24,2018 I had to return my vehicle do to my vehicle accelerating on it's own when my foot was removed from the brake pedal. Upon accelerating my gas gusher would drop a not h each time. February 23, 2018 my vehicle did an update that night; that at when it started. I called the dealership the same night and talk with emil the finance manager. He told me to bring it in the next day. Which was February 24, 2018. My I was told it was ready one week later so I go to pick it up. The problem wasn't fixed. I left it there. I received a phone call from melinda saying a technician drove my car and the transmission slammed so hard the tech thought it fell out the vehicle. So my transmission was replaced. So I picked my car up April 2018; one week later it is jerking as I drive down a hill. Them again in a flat parking g lot. So I call the dealership to return it and they can't get it to duplicate what ot was doing. So melinda calls and tell me to pick my car up and if o keep having problems return it. My car is still jerking and at 38-42 it changes gears roughly.
