general problems of the 2017 Chrysler 200

The car is constantly needs a jump start , and the pedal will not accelerate. I have had multiple diagnosis and they don’t know what it is- the cruise control component comes on at the beginning of the jump start until the car runs. Auto zone and midas has checked the battery, alternator, did a draw and they can’t find the issue. When driving the pedal will not accelerate- may have to pull over, and restart- then it works, until you disengage the car. They charged me over 30,000. 00 dollars for this vehicle and I’m still paying on it and I can’t even drive it because I feel unsafe, especially with the pedal. It’s too cold to get up and jump start a car every morning. I’m paying 460. 54 every month for a car that I don’t know that’s wrong with it- I purchase a warranty and though I didn’t hit the mileage they said it expired because it was for three years. This should be illegal. I really need to drive to get things done. There’s no lights coming to indicate a problem, please assist. It kept [xxx] cutting off and the cruise control, then it stopped. Tried to connect with Chrysler they said they were backed up, only speed issues, like accelerating faster than the mileage, now since it got cold - it won’t even crank up without a jump start, but all things checked and the mechanics can’t find the reason saying it’s electrical. Do you think Chrysler os messing with my car because that’s dangerous and this is stressful- I’ll send the police report need to find information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. Has happened on highway and city streets when I accelerate sometimes the rpms get stuck at 4000. And there is also lag from my acceleration when I take off and will get stuck at high rpms when I slow down while coasting and braking only way I've gotten it to stop is by tapping on my gas again.

Pulling down my drive way my vehicle accelerated without me trying. I hit the brake and e brake. It did not stop us. In result of the acceleration my house stopped us.

I purchased my vehicle brand new in 2017 and started experiencing issues within the first year. The car has cut off multiple times while driving, without warning, in the middle of rush hour traffic. It also frequently stalls. I've taken my vehicle to 3 different dealerships in 2 different states at least 10 times. Two of the three dealerships claimed that the problem was some sort of fuse underneath the driver's seat. After the car continued to shut off without warning, I was told that it was due to low oil. I've called Chrysler's headquarters who has given me a free oil change package and instructed me to return to a dealership every 500 - 1000 miles for an oil consumption test. They know that the car is burning an unusual amount of oil which is a clear indication that there's a problem. Instead of issuing a recall, they continue to put lives in danger by giving them back their death trap of a car and instructing them to check and get frequent oil changes. I'm guessing their hope is to keep the oil changes going until the warranty runs out. Someone's going to lose their life or get seriously injured in these cars, I just pray that it's not me.

I purchased a 2017 Chrysler 200 limited from steve lander's Chrysler Dodge Jeep February 12, 2018. On February 24,2018 I had to return my vehicle do to my vehicle accelerating on it's own when my foot was removed from the brake pedal. Upon accelerating my gas gusher would drop a not h each time. February 23, 2018 my vehicle did an update that night; that at when it started. I called the dealership the same night and talk with emil the finance manager. He told me to bring it in the next day. Which was February 24, 2018. My I was told it was ready one week later so I go to pick it up. The problem wasn't fixed. I left it there. I received a phone call from melinda saying a technician drove my car and the transmission slammed so hard the tech thought it fell out the vehicle. So my transmission was replaced. So I picked my car up April 2018; one week later it is jerking as I drive down a hill. Them again in a flat parking g lot. So I call the dealership to return it and they can't get it to duplicate what ot was doing. So melinda calls and tell me to pick my car up and if o keep having problems return it. My car is still jerking and at 38-42 it changes gears roughly.

Car accelerated to 50 mph in a parking lot, was able to veer out of parking lot into main road. Unable to stop using brakes. Eventually hit a median and the accelerating stopped. Upon having vehicle towed to dealership, they couldn't find any codes or issues.
