Electronic Stability Control Problems of Chrysler 200 - part 2

The vehicle stalls while driving. This is a very dangerous situation as 3 times it has stalled at 50 +mph and this has occurred on the highway. Another stall occurred on a curvy state road on a bend with no shoulder. No warning light of error code has been produced by the vehicle.

Car was in motion leaving a shopping area, turning right and accelerating onto a 4 lane highway. As 45 mph was achieved, the car decelerated and stalled. The check engine light and the electronic throttle control light came on. I looked up the etc information and read I may be able to try again to drive the car. I did try and rolled on the shoulder for about 1/4 mile before having to accelerate though an intersection. At that point, car repeated the above failure and stalled. I was able to make a right turn and coast into a parking lot. The car was towed. While waiting on the tow, I read several reports of the same issue occurring in this model vehicle, often while driving on the interstate or in other dangerous locations like an intersection. This failure happened with no warning - no sputtering, hesitation or warning lights until the failure occurred. This failure could result in serious injury or death. It looks to me to be a known issue and should be subject to recall.

Ive had a Chrysler before. I suspected the newer model to be improved. . . Unfortunately for me its jerking like the older model after having tune ups done twice. Also its going dead when I turn left and giving me a message (performance shift disabled) to put it in park and turn it back on. The bad part is im always entering an busy interstate. Its been doing this now for two weeks. The jerking of the vehicle is way to familiar to me. My last Chrysler once it started it got worst and worst as was unable to drive then I found out about the recall on the vehicle.

When the vehicle is in neutral is sputters and the electrical flickers. I replaced the battery and it is still doing it. The rpms randomly fluctuate and it's not consistent. I feel like the vehicle is just going to stall out as I'm driving down the freeway. Also the ignition button I have to hold on and cannot just push the start button. It's just not running properly.

Driving 60 mph on highway, car shuts down completely. Not first time and happens every couple of months. Dealership acts as if they don't know how to fix problem. I am a single mother with 2 young children riding in this car. Does one of us have to risk dying or serious injury for Chrysler to acknowledge or fixed this problem.

The car stalled out and completely shut off as I was driving 30 mph. It was extremely dangerous and could've caused a accident. It wouldn't turn back on for about a minute. This has happened twice in the past week. I looked up other people who have had same issue and it shows there was a recall for the vehicle. A lot of others had the same issue. The recall number was s09. I need to know what I should do with my vehicle as soon as possible. It's too dangerous to drive. This happened with my kids in the car.

Turned off vehicle went into store came back out try to crank it up and it never started up. It does this about twice a week. I thought the battery went out so I bought a new one and it still didn't start up. Stuck in parking lot for hours.

Vehicle will not start up, all lights will come on dash but will not turn on or crank. Vehicle displayed "service shifter" as well as "service transmission" signs and then would not accelerate over 34 mph. Check engine lights comes on but then turns off by itself. I just purchased the car and haven't had it for 15 days.

2013 Chrysler 200 limited stalls out while driving. Started sept. 2019, and has happen (eight times) almost monthly or every 500 miles. No warning- no power steering; no power brakes. After stalling- car cranks and can take up to 1-2 hrs before engine will turn over again. I have taken vehicle to four separate mechanics; including Chrysler dealership and not one has been able to diagnose problem. Also, car does not throw any codes. I have replaced the battery; fuel pump and had pcm update and vehicle still stalling out while driving.

As I am driving this car was shut off and then I will have to put the car in park restart the car sometimes it will stall before we starting but other times it will restart and then I continue on and this may happen three to four times especially in the morning this is very dangerous for the car to stop while I'm driving without warning it's a hazard and can lead to a bad accident.

Wheels on car all peeled off and looks awful. The drivers inside handle peeling and wife cut hand on it . When you press the gas it loses power and stutters have had trouble with struts and brakes ever since we have owned car we purchased it off show room floor in grayson ky t.

My car is struggling with starting. Multiple times it has left me stranded. First trip to dealership, they stated it needed a computer update. The problem got worse after the computer update and begin happening more and more often. Gives me a "service transmission" message. It's only at 67,000 miles and I havent owned it a year. Very frustrated. It is going back to the dealership tomorrow!.

Car keep stalling out.

The car jercks often. And makes a wired noise and the mileage light blikks on and off non stop. Airbag light is on.

The vehicle was diagnosed by 2 different repair shops with the follow codes: u1504, p0610, p1500, u0420, c0051, c212a, u0402, c1246. Ultimately, the pdc (power distribution center) is not working. There have already been several recalls on this issue with this vehicle and the recall dates do not reach our vehicles manufactured date by a month. The dealership is refusing to cooperate and help with notifying you of this issue that is affecting more consumers than you are under the impression. Please respond to this in a timely manor. My husbands vehicle will not be usable until this is settled.

The car gets stuck in park. The emergency parking brake comes on at random. The service transmission indicator comes on's daily. And the car stop accelerating constantly.

Lots of electrical issues. Certain days will not �detect� key fob. Car will stall and turn off while driving. Stalled on me while on entrance ramp to highway. Lots of electrical issues and throttle system. Will completely shut my car off and ask for �anti theft pin�. (I bought used from dealership but never given a pin). I will have to turn the car off, get out of the vehicle, lock it, unlock it and restart to get the anti theft code.

My car shuts off with no warning what so ever. Check engine is not on and my car runs and drives amazing. I took it to the dealership and they said they fixed it but when I went to drive and hour after I picked the car up from the dealership it shut off.

A couple weeks ago, I was at stop light my car stalled, I put in park it restarted. I couldn't put on my hazards or anything to warn the car behind . It happened again on this Saturday on the highway in the fast lane the dashboard was blank, the radio stopped playing, so merged in the slow lane without using the brake then everything came back on the speed gauge was trying to get my current speed. It doesn't happen all the time but it's scary feeling because everything on dashboard is computerized.

Over the last two months I've been dealing with something called a no crank no start as the people say . Basically you're car could start one minute and then you could cut the car off and it won't do anything it won't start or crank .

Vehicle shuts off randomly while driving and sending a message to put in park and restart vehicle. Several message lights come on that indicate there is an issue with the electrical components. Also, the service airbag message comes on every few seconds and airbag light stays on.

Vehicle suspension seems to have gone bad. 2015 sedan now sounds like an older car when riding over rough spots in pavement. Also, awd not available light first flashed on when taking a left turn on rainy day. It was followed by service awd indicator light coming on. At first these indicator lights would come on intermittently, but now come on each time engine is started and the service awd light now stays on until the engine is shut off.

The car just randomly cuts on and off I took it to the dealership and to pep boys and they said it was just a battery issue I have a brand new battery in my car and it still is doing it.

The car dies several times while driving it without any warning lights coming on.

Several diagnostics codes relating to recalls issued involving transmission, electrical systems and air bags present on vehichle. Chyrsler refuses to honor stating that those issues doesn't effect m my VIN #. Veheicle stalls and air bag maintenance light is on for over a year now.

When driving it shuts off, a very serious and dangerous problem.

Since Dec 16, 2016 my car has stalled multiple times , I have filed multiple bbb complaints as well as having it inspected , towed , new key fobs purchased and my car literally will stop on the interstate putting me and my family in danger. It, has broken down 15 times since I purchased this vehicle and I'm sick and tired of this. I want this settled.

I was driving in the middle of the street when the car just shut off completely. The car stall I had to call the tow truck and the police for help because I couldn't even put my emergency lights on. I waited for 2 hours and suddenly the car went back on. The car like if nothing ever happened. It was scary luck that I wasn't on the freeway with my children at that time.

The meaning of the light that comes on is electronic throttle control system.

While driving the car on the highway, the car dies and has to be jumped. The jump only makes it a short distance before shutting of again. All the lights come on ,on the dash and shut the car off.

Tamara recall I was hit in the front and side drivers and not one of my air bags went off from the impact. I was forced by the other car into a curb. Lights would flicker constantly even after battery was changed twice. From the cause of the accident I have had major injuries sustained.

While driving the instrument cluster went out. Speedometer and all electronics and displays went out. I had to pull over on the highway and turn off the car and back on and the display went back on. The check engine light came on and when I took it to the dealer they said the codes that came up are inconclusive. This is the 4th time this has happened and it seems to only happen during warm or hot weather. This is very concerning while driving. Searching various forms, it seems this is an issue other Chrysler drivers have experienced.

The car shut completely off while in an intersection while attempting to make a right turn. The car shut off during a right turn. The car shut off while backing out of my garage. The car jerks as if a ghost is hitting it from behind in the middle of take off from a complete stop at a light or stop sign. It shakes everyone up in front and back seats and it happens randomly and spontaneously. This behavior has been happening for two years now and it wasn't not provoked by an accident. Thank you.

Since I have had my car the service airbag system has came on several times I got it fixed once before, I have had to replace the throttle control body, and thermostat, also it's saying d1-d9 when I drive. It's so many problems and I've only had the car two years.

While driving my 200 I lost control of my steering. The check engine light the steering warning light as well as my traction light. I could not turn my wheel at all.
